This is great stuff...
This is drum n bass the way I see it and you too...
Nice synths and nice mix... love the lows on the basedrum..
Another way to do Drum and Bass definitly... thumbs UP!!!!
I think you fit into ONE genre...
It's called minimalistic and you do it very well...
Your tunes are so nice to listen too...
Nice sounds and very well mixed!
Try to get a pella from Looperman... I wonder how it will sound with this tune!
I never thought of it that way. I guess most of my stuff is pretty minimal. Good thought about the pella, but since I already released this song on an album I don't think I'll go back to it. I must move forward. Ha ha! Thanks for listening and reviewing!
You did something that gave me a feeling that made my day!!!
Love the progression in the track altough only believers from the 90's would hear that, and I am a believer!
Very well mixed, everything fits really good in the track!
Thanks so much TCAS! I am really trying to establish my own sound within the Dubstep genre so it's nice to people noticing my efforts in doing so. I got some new jams on deck so stay tuned. thanks again!
Peace.
Depeche Mode, Information Society, Human League... you know where to get your inspiration...
I love the transition from the saw to the filtered pad very much!!!
Love this 80's tune in the new century...
But give the vocals some more input gain and their own eq'ing space.. sometimes the vocals drop back into the music...
Love this track, faved!!!
Don't try trance... just stick with this genre, that's what you're really good at!!!
Hey thanks for your review, i am amazed many people find my music brings them good memories and good old times. Dance is my genre since a teen, but today dance and trance and club sounds all the same to me. So i try put it in the correct genre. My current two tracks are trance, so if you not listened, have a listen and see if its more or less the same, as i like my music between 130 to 140 bpm. Also like other genres, when i have a good idea haaa. It is hard to get vocalists for my tracks and when i do it is usually old school friends or tempt the a female at work to do it haaa, still most of my friends are vocal so it helps, as they play those sing a long playstation games...haa
thanks for the feedback... i definitely wanna go back and equalize a few things maybe even change the kick drum... thanks for the comment glad u liked it
WOW,
I hear so many things.... I can't really figure out what makes hiphop? Is this about a feeling? I guess so because this track is really an emotional thing...
I know, I hate that Reason sound, gives me the creeps. Yea, the drums need a little polishing, though Fissure is still a very big project on hand. So this will have to wait, though, I appreciate the comment man.
I'll check out your tune and let yah know what I think.
Thanks,
STeve.
P.S. I feel the low frequencies are much too low for a song like this. Not enough low-mid and too much mid, just my POV. :)
I like the main track but I don't know how the sample will add more to this track.
Maybe you could put some low pass on the sample and mix it with the main music that would be great I think.
I like the club sound in this...
I would not listen to this as I do right now but in a club ambience it will do very good...
Nice piano but may fav is the organ!
Indeed... grab the tequilas and bring in the summer!!!

You have a lot a bass but it doesn't seems to give problems with the drums...
Well done!

Using Reason 5 and Record 1.5 too, for me it's also the best!!!
Now about your track... it does not sound Reason like (thats cool)... but it sounds a bit mono... you centered the sounds too much!
The track is great but widen it more... it sounds cropped right now...

I think you need a little (re)mixing and eq'ing on this track.
Some sounds overwhelm the other sounds like the wobble bass does on the drum track.
Please consider a new mix of this and this track (wich has potential) will sound even better.
