on I want to by Transcontinental
Hey TCT, not bad mate, industrial, it's also got a feel of dudstep, I'm a streetdancer so could bot to this :) great beat nice percs and cymbals hi hats atmospheric sound outro was cool. Great first solo attempt, the only critique would be the first vocal it's very repetitive, you could drop a few, space it out or even better replace them with other quotes from orators, the music and sound production are spot on. Welcome to the community my friend, critique is an important part within our huge circle, it is always constructive and we offer an abundance of help to everyone that plays their part because it's the right thing to do, can't wait to here some punk from you, well done bro...Paul

on yes and no by GlitterKitty
Kitty this is really cool agree with cyber Radiohead creep, and to get an offer of three vocals on your first Collab request, jump on it. If you don't know cyber, he will impress you, he's also a big part of our community and the spirit we all have, Robin is a good guy, look forward to what you do ...Paul

on Every Inch Featuring SmC by doofus
Real nice track doofus great vocal and melody it's very soft and easy listening as it is and like Ian said maybe a sax/horn/trumpet maybe with strings guitar or violin, they'd all go but I'm sure a talent like you could do that anyway but good luck with what you decide.....Paul
doofus
doofus replied 3rd Jan 2022 - 4 years ago
Talent is a very gracious term to use here Paul, I'm just screwing around. I struggled with the chord structure on this one and debated going with a more lo-fi approach, but the 5 plus decades I spent on this earth automatically gravitate me back towards a simpler, softer, easy listening FM sound. Go figure.

Happy New Year Roberto my good friend, really great track the music is delicate but the chord changes give it a dark mystery, the keys are beautiful the beat and snare and kicks are on point and such a sweet faded end, well done mate

Just listened to Ian's now this, staggering difference Chris I love the chilled vibe the sax is red hot and the scream is bone tingling beautiful mate, the Asian influence is gentle but so so nice. Great listen

Ha yes, as I said to Ian in an email, his track is full of life, mine just sounds ponderous! Trying to finish something a bit more light hearted at the moment. Hope you had a good festive period. Hit 32 degrees here today, hottest day on record for the south coast. ciao

on not waving but drowning - rock version by Zootman
Nice to here your voice again Chris, real good track, you dropped the intro straight into the vox this time around the tweeks and Rock edge gives this a massive lift, and I like this better than the trap version although that's good you should get the Mrs backing on this a third version
Zootman
Zootman replied 22nd Dec 2021 - 4 years ago
Ha ha cheers Paul, the first hurdle is getting her to listen to it lol. Yeah I kinda liked this version. Probably should have worked on the arrangement a bit more, I feel like it capitulated a bit at the end, maybe should have dropped it back into the rock to finish but couldn't really be assed!

on Life Moves On Featuring Cabilo by doofus
Robbie I'm afraid you need a new stereo in the whip, I've listened on my Marshall speaker and my JBL headset, yep it's definitely your stereo, with the headset on I get what your saying about the bass it's not overpowering though, maybe tweak it down volume EQ, it's personnel choice really, I really liked it

on Life Moves On Featuring Cabilo by doofus
This is such a nice track doofus, the vocal performance by Cabilo is gorgeous, the music is lovely the beat and drum work is great, a really sweet track, the piano is standout. I do like the Harper's tap perc too bro, and to be honest, I'm loving your music, it always leaves me feeling good, keep this up mate your a pleasure to listen to
doofus
doofus replied 20th Dec 2021 - 4 years ago
The drum track is way too Rosanna (Toto), but I do appreciate the kind words. I think I need to do a gauge R&R study on my ears, I think the bass line might be overpowering. Either that, or I need a car with a better stereo in it. Every time I listen in my car it sounds like caca.

on The Cobra Clutch by theHumps
As always very well wrote Wayne, very funny, laughing at this, so much character, just like wrestling, I have friends who are both pro cage fighters, UFC and Bellator, love the fight game all styles, tough boys step in the ring. And yep I watched wrestling as a kid, the English stuff though absolutely hilarious, big daddy, giant haystacks, kendo nagasackie, Mick macmanass. These where household names in the 70s uk,started Saturday early evening after the football results. I can't believe forty fifty years later their names just roll of my tongue, thanks for the memory jog :)))
theHumps
theHumps replied 14th Dec 2021 - 4 years ago
It's pretty funny the things you remember from being young, wrestling was part of my youth. I grew out of it when the real world of working for a living kicked in. Hulk Hogan, Bruno Samartino, Bob Backlin.... memories! lol

on Noche de paz by sirefox

Paz y salud hermano.
