on Modnex - nO gRaViTy by Modnex
Mod this is really cool electronic house, great bones to work with, you could easily beef this up you can add all-sorts even a repetitive electro vox or vocal synth, it'll be nice to see how this comes back
Modnex
Modnex replied 7th Dec 2021 - 4 years ago
Thank you, dime! I agree with you all the way. This track has the makings to be more. I just need to figure out what direction I'm going to take it in and stick with it, which is truly the hard part.

Legendary nice track bro, hip-hop, is my staple, I was born in that stable. Love your title call,I've told you before I think, the pace is great, good beat and raspy snare and hats, melody is nice fam, would like a few more vocals, male, to compliment the female vox, this is the bones you bringing bass, so it's unfinished, because you got a Collab request as well, looking forward to listening to where you take this.

Hey mate I did listen to this but it was late so never commented, and obviously forgot. Yeh , dam right this is you spot on with the dubstep, that's why I didn't comment while listening as usual I was doing a mean c3po bot, this is pure mental happiness it's everywhere the synths are so finely balanced with lazers I could well be in my own little space battle too, I've got to try something like this I've got lasers drones atonals pads side chains this is now something I need to have a go at not yet though time for another listen and dance first, the intro is f#cking bonkers, it's like my head at times I love it
bringerofDOOM
bringerofDOOM replied 24th Nov 2021 - 4 years ago
Thanks for listening and commenting.

If you want to use any of my stuff for any reason, just steal it... I do not care.

I know all about "bonkers." I'm not going to get into the details, but lets just say when someone asks me to not be so analytical, or logical, or "smart," I say "OK just tell me where to put the scalpel." I tried to break my mind as a teenager with chemicals, unsuccessfully.

If only I had addictive tendencies, alcoholism would solve all of this.

So, it's either musician or mad scientist super villain. We will let society decide... how convenient for me.

on Never Said by AtticElla
All them Sade CDs has had an influence then Ella, your slightly deeper but it was so similar sounding to me. hopefully the comments will have eased your intimation.
I was so scared my first time, but the guys comments inspired me, I'm hoping it has the same impact on you. Don't let your own opinion overule you, remember it's the listeners opinion that should matter most.
I hate to post my link here on your page, but it's to show you not to be intimated. I was so scared, I switched the master volume down on the vox, hence why it's a little quiet, but the comments built me, to what I am now, an active member within our community supporting all and leading with encouragement for talent. Excuse my ignorance for the link, I hope it helps

No Paul, I don't mind at all. Thank you so much for the link. I listened to your song and it was great! You truly have that 'trap' mood going on there with your vox.

Yes, I understand what you are saying. That still doesn't make it easy. I'm a very, let's say paranoid person. Goes with other issues I rather not talk about. But putting my voice out there is like marking my spot on the map for everyone to see. Irrational, but it is what it is.

I was advised to put myself out there and that's what I'm trying to do. But, baby steps... lol I'm already talking and revealing more of myself online than I'm used to.

Your words of encouragement are so comforting. I truly appreciate it Paul. Thanks.

Ella I'm so glad I got you thinking, this is beautiful, you have a great vocal, it really has a sade no ordinary love feel to this, your arrangement is fantastic I mention short lyrics well placed add character you don't need to go full vocal, something is better than nothing, creative originality, I would most certainly sit and listen to this playing in the background and a glass of wine with friends. I knew there was something about you, I've got a good ear and just knew there was more to come, you've done great in your short time, keep impressing lovely lady

AtticElla replied 22nd Nov 2021 - 4 years ago
Sade? I have a bunch of her CDs!

I don't know if I'll do this again though. I can't sing that well, comes out all wobbly. But it was fun to do.

You are so kind Paul. I swear I had no idea I could even mix any good before since I didn't have any feedback to tell me otherwise. I'm glad I stuck around. It's helping me a lot in more ways than just music.

Thank you for listening =D

some days I think there's no such thing as chance, next day I believe the opposite. Yeah I wanted to tell a story with this one, though it isn't actually based on any real event or personal experience. I love the poem, it is in a book I keep next to the dunny (toilet) for when you want to sit and think.
