This is my final comment, I loved the vibe of this from the off Ian, I think it sounds great as is now, but believe me, if ed Sheeran brought this out in the spring he'd have a hit mate, it's got a beautiful sound and instrumentation and would appeal to the masses searching for their special you now get a fab too great track

Hey Paul - thanks mate - it might come to life more with a remix down the track!

Thanks again for your friendship and the time you put into listening and giving feedback - much appreciated.

What's up Paul,

I've had the urge to write some unorthodox dance music.
I want to write music that makes you want to move.
I've always thought mixing genres could make for
some interesting dance interpretations.

Thank you for your listen and encouraging comments.

PEACE...

This sounds great with the additions, maybe a double wood tap with echo very quiet to give it variety but not length agree with CCC makes you wanna be young and in love. I will save my final comment for the finished version although I think it now mate

pseudoble replied 6th Feb 2022 - 4 years ago
Hey mate - just tweaked it again but Id say at this point this one is not quite there yet ... I'll take a break and move on and maybe come back to it ... or our LM colleagues might bring some inspiration

Ian love this vibe it's a spring/summery song the vocal is great needs a bassline yeh but staged maybe a perc to give the snare a change again staged you could bring charms and tingles in the back ground too, I'm sure this will be further improved mate great start looking forward to part 2

A magical shroom trip, Micky. I was a the king of shroomers, liberty cap heaven, took me back bro, thank you. Masterful sound and production

Micky replied 5th Feb 2022 - 4 years ago
Hi Paul, well, King of Shroomers...haven't heard that before...sounds crazy and good. Maybe a good stage name. However, this particular experience of mine stemmed from something other than a mushroom dish... rather it was a sour affair combined with advanced meditation. I feel like there aren't enough people out there these days to "learn" if you know what I mean. I'm all the more pleased that you liked the track and that you could relate to it.
Greetings and may the force be with you,
M

on Bee - pseudoble by pseudoble
I listened to this charming track on SC the other day, it's lovely, I do check all my contacts on there just don't comment, I've also checked the next too :)) again experimental, this could be used as background for any of your work, or upcoming work it would go with so much, great relaxed chill the sounds are so delicate like a soft touch

pseudoble replied 30th Jan 2022 - 4 years ago
Thanks mate - I try not to put things up as featured here unless I have the time to listen and comment so chuck things on the soundcloud first (sometimes). It's good to know you are in my corner and I appreciate not just that you continue to listen but are able offer such warm affirmation of my experiments and musical (and sometimes not so musical) learnings : )

Magical trip DOOM, I could so easily be watching Tron or pac-man 25th century update the amount of loops you have used is stunning in what you have delivered to us the end user, there's a pace and urgency about it yet calming relaxation also the vox is scarily futuristic. Terrific job bro, faved

Thanks for listening and commenting. This is the largest track I've done so far as far as number of mixer tracks and total samples, loops, and sounds. I definitely learned some things.

Thanks for the fave.

on Top Notch by JohnSmokey
Beautiful intro into a fly vibe and pace with a top notch vocal flow crystal clear. Top marks on sound production Smokey, like the quiet drop on the drum and back up old skool hip-hop feel
JohnSmokey
JohnSmokey replied 29th Jan 2022 - 4 years ago
Glad I could be here to bring the production. My producer does a great job, sometimes I have to sift through trap beats. I just do the lyrics and the vocals. Doing the whole trac would be too much with school. One day.

on Hard Times by ClickbaitCabaret
Stunning mix Click, the intro is fantastic, the industrial sound and hard bass give it that ddark edge and the accompanying synths provides dismay and fear love the scissors the rim shot that sounds like a coin against the window is fire, I used that very same impact on my Overwhelming thoughts track, great listen

Thank you for your kind words, Paul.
However, there are only two of us here, unless you count this latest iteration of the HAL 9000, the HAL X, to the crew, then there would actually be three of us, but... hmm

Cheers,

My great friend another exceptional piece here you say a journey through the mist , well that mist was clear,I could see everything, such a nice intro into tight beats and snare the vocal synth at 1.42-2.03 was great but I like the stabbing and pounding sound the synth provides great first listen to my Sunday, well done yet again another great listen

Paz y salud.

This is exactly as you describe it in your description with on exception it's not wired, it's wonderful, that guitar is the standout for sure, the whole piece was great and kept me fully engaged but the git took me on a journey, this is a lesson to anyone on how the simplest of lyrics and a chant placed properly have a huge impact on a track well done mate faced, real nice listen

on Chill Baby Chill by crucethus
Hey Cru I was gonna ask the same as Chris, you are bringing delicate gentle masterpieces to the table, consistently. Even your experiments work some kind of whodoo voodoo you have, this is chillout but it got a funky edge the intro was beautiful the beat coming in a 26 and the funky keys are fantastic, I loved the drop out and repeat with its variation and percs charms used at 1.26 another great listen keep up this great work and vibe bro
crucethus
crucethus replied 24th Jan 2022 - 4 years ago
Thanks, Mate. The difference between this tune in juxtaposition to my more experimental work is that I need that experimental stuff to make something like this exist, that will ultimately just sound smooth and silky. The most interesting part is at 1:53 where I do something like a rondo. It makes it sound different and interesting and yet it still follows the same musical pathway I laid out in the beginning. This was one of my more consistent works. I am gladf U enjoyed it mate, take care and stay safe!

on I Keep Waking Up by TRAPDOC by ProdTRAPDOC
Nice track bro, welcome back to LM, the vocal is cool, fresh and current, nice beat and melody. Yes it's hip-hop-ish :)) with a dollop of pop though. Ended abruptly, maybe let it run a little longer and fade. Another 14 seconds and you got yourself a good 3 min track then
ProdTRAPDOC
ProdTRAPDOC replied 22nd Jan 2022 - 4 years ago
Thanks for the feedback! I've been dabbling in making alot hip hop and pop so sometimes they both mix together and I think this time it turned out well. And for the album version I'll probably take your advice and have a longer ending with maybe a guitar solo or some other kinda solo and that would be pretty cool. Thanks!

on the ballad by bringerofDOOM
Doom I obviously missed this first time round, this is a ballad to my ears and senses the guitar work is stunning the acoustic, bass, and the star of the show the electric lead the 808 is bone shaking with dissedence and reverb and the beautiful keys sing to my heart along side that stunning solo guitar this is a masterpiece in sound exceptional listen and a fav
