Thanks. English is my first language. rofl!
If I ever sing in French or Spanish it will be a good laugh :D

Singing these old cover songs is a nice break from my own material.
Early Fleetwood Mac is so great!
Thanks for listening

on Departure - 41-D Mix by SkodaEDM
nice work Skoda, great intro nice pads, then a kick arse beat, nice clap tone too bro, cool synth work. vocal ad-libs are hot and the production is top draw just the right amount of reverb and delay, then a nice outro finish. top job

on Metamorphising - Kirkoid Mix by Kirkoid
nice work bro, charming music, and the spoken vocal is cool, its pretty clear as is but im a fan of delay would have liked to here that rolling delay you had, but i fully understand it would probably make it sound muddy, its probably too long a vocal to get crisp with delay, ive had that problem too with both delay and reverb, you could try a bit of transient processing it might help, but cool as is bro, enjoyed my listen

on the miracle that is you by doudei
really nice vibe you created here bro the keys are gorgeous the drums are none fussy and set the slow pace great tone on the bass drum and the percussion is tight and that seagull loop just adds to that summer chilled out vibe you captured, really nice listen my friend. happiness is the way, think about it, if somebody or something pisses you off for two minutes at anytime, let it go, forget it, its minor in your life, dont let it spoil your whole day
here's a link to a podcast with the ex chief of google Mo Gawdat on the subject of happiness, its almost 2hrs, alot for one sitting but a few visit would see you through, its a great watch, its not trying to teach anyone to suck eggs it just gives a different simplistic message on how we look on happiness and the choices YOU can make

on Edge of Nothing - Original ft JB by InitiumMusic
bro this is the second ive heard from you, the vocal is dope, big up JB. but your music and production are off the charts Evolution,
ive got shimmer in my DAW but never done a vocal to D&B, not that i can sing, more a trier :)) but its sic, love that drum roll intro to start the second half.
anyway keep bringing this kind of fire and im sure i'll jump on one and kill it, well one way or another :))))) your a top producer bro, thanks for sharing with us
InitiumMusic
InitiumMusic replied 27th Jun 2023 - 3 years ago
Thanks! Always nice to hear that my production is high quality lol even when I don't feel that way some times.

The frontrunner to the vox is also not used to doing vocals for DnB, contest is still open, but as I said, who knows who will make me go "Yep, this is going to be a hit." lol

For sure about jumping one. If you feel a track, by all means I'd love to hear you jumping on one.

There's Gonna Be Murder is insanely unique, I listen to it quite often lol

on No To Yes Featuring SilverBella by doofus
bro that bassline at the intro is fire,
great funk with a soulful touch, your so right about it needing a bit more instrument wise, just to fill it out with some depth, everything else is there, your a great act bro your music is always top draw and you always try to promote/highlight the singer as apposed to yourself, top job again Robbie, well done mate
doofus
doofus replied 25th Jun 2023 - 3 years ago
Thank you so much for listening and even more so for the encouragement, it really means a lot Paul! You are right that it needs something more, good ears, I'm going to try adding some horns. Need to start listening closely to how pros like you fill it all out!

on heliotrope by xstokes
this is class work bro, it has sombre chillout feel, things are happening, slowly building, i thought the sun was going to shine through, it didn't, it wasn't supposed to, that bass kept the vibe low, one word in the description, waiting explains perfectly, seeing the transitions you expect it to shine at some stage, there is a couple of little glimmers of penetrating light, you're not selling the sun, this is the calm before the full show is cast with your psychedelic charm added, you captured it Mike, another great production mate

haha man i was a little sick from the forest fire smoke coming down from quebec, it’s been harsh on some of us. damn i feel for them living right near the fires.
i tried tweaking this tune to get a little more blue sky in it as conditions have improved. hope all’s well, my man!
