on Jazz Waves ft Steve Bone and Ben Edwards by Cosmo
Cosmo this is a delicious sound , i agree with Mark its textured layers are fantastic, they give it a warmth, you can imagine this playing in a smokey filled jazz club, the sax is clearly the star of the show and plays its part in the spotlight but the instrumentation is all solid, the deep brass bass was a great contrast to the melodic elements, sounded like a euphoinum, but it grabbed my attention, wonderful sound congrats to all involved
Cosmo
Cosmo replied 6th May 2026 - 3 weeks ago
dimestop, thank you for your eloquent comments. I didn't realize all these elements are going on. That's interesting. A track like this takes me about 3 days. I did get a university degree in music and was professionally trained in studio production by David Rubinson of Columbia Records both many, many years ago. Today, I put my brain on autopilot and keep working on it until it sounds good to me. Best of life to you my friend, Cosmo

nice work brother love the playing style, there's a flamenco to it, the ambient bird sounds are a PaperKup trade mark, the transition was sweet and the finger picking riff starting that section was fresh too, good basslines giving a grit yes i listened to it all, i smoked a joint and had a whiskey, nice

on Funk It ft Zephyr Music Revised Version by TrippleN97
Tripple i got a bad ass back, sciatica bruv, you can't bring bangers like this to LM whilst I'm i'll, you got me dancing round my living room bruv your causing me more damage, i can't exactly tell my doctor its my bro and his funk making things worse, I know what time it's, time to strutt your stuff. big likes fam
TrippleN97
TrippleN97 replied 3rd May 2026 - 3 weeks ago
Haha, fam, your comment had me cracking up! Im truly grateful for the love on the music... knowing its got you strutting around your living room is the best kind of feedback. But listen, I dont want to be responsible for you explaining to your doctor that funk-induced damage is a real medical condition.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, bruv. May your back bounce back quicker than the bassline. In the meantime, maybe keep the dance moves to the upper body only shoulder shimmies are safer than full-on living room breakdance battles!

Big respect and big likes right back at you.

on 8 Billion Doves by Kayos2
hello guys, great work from team Vintage, great character in the vocal Kay the high peaks sound cool, a good rock beat Oli drums are solid, i like the layout and production and the theme is close to us all, I'm tired of the fires burning across our lands, wars bring death, talks bring peace and yes far to many old men measuring their d#ck size, i still go along with my thinking, humans ARE and always will be the worst things ever to have graced earth, dinosaurs f@ck them we would of ate two for breakfast, we are people from all across the world here at LM we share our music, have little dissagreements, which is fine, yet we all end up getting along because of the music, and non of us want conflict, we are the majority, so why are wars constant, because we breed hate, we just set the next generation up ready, its becoming lifes normal and politicians have failed us all, your vision is a beautiful thought, but i think it will forever only be a dream, but highlighting it is a positive guys no matter how small

lovely intro Robin, i know you play bass , are you playing that melody here, i really liked the drop @0.48, tight strings like the stacaato and the plucks together and they so well entwined with the keys too the bass is a good tone, i really like classical music, it was the first thing i ever heard live in a theatre, a concert with the school, i think I was 12-13, the muscians timing was impeccable, it was mind blowing the sound was awesome, i had goosebumps, it's 12.15 am, I'm having a whiskey and a smoke and that listen was gorgeous, thankyou bro, enjoy the bank holiday

nice work Dan, I have considered both them plugins $97 or roughly £72 sterling, with the bonus packs, they are rated highly and have good reviews, but it would be a bonus for me to get some feedback from a colleague who is using them, whats your opinion, as it may help me with a decision I'm still considering, the vocal here sounds really good,

Thank you Paul for listening :) I'm still exploring plugins, but for now i would say they are really good. If you have extra money buy without thinking twice.

hello Aaron hope your good bro, i was talking your kid the other day, I asked him to mention me to ya, and yeah bruv this has Pnnywse stamped right thro it and should be instantly recognizable to your friends here as your work, its dark and eerie with tension and fear coming through like only Pnnywse does and under 5 mins, I enjoyed my listen fam

Thank you for listening and for the comment, Paul! Lately Ive been going through alot of my old stuff for a side project involving Remasters, and in the process Ive found some beats that are pretty good candidates for a huge collab Im going to try and do - for the "finale" of our current project, i really want a song featuring as many of our friends from LM as possible, and for that i need a beat that appeals to nearly everyone. Yeah, its a pretty tall order, but im really thinking ill find it in my archive somewhere. Anyway, i bring this up bcuz we of course want u to be on it, even if its a small parr

on Obsidian - feat shepbird by fanisatt
beautiful pop ballad, the intro was lovely Fanis, the lyrics are so nice great vocal tone and your music is entwined with it, love the little key rolls the excellent drums, they don't overwhelm but sit so tight with the keys. I agree with Manu, it has a live feel which must be down to your engineering, studio work is polished with sparkle, this sparkles and doesn't sound produced in a studio, excellent work my friend

on Clarion Call by RichardShekari
Richard you have truly made a huge impact on our community, this is a great song with a beautiful soul edge to its vibe, your message is always consistent, your words always full of warmth and never forced , the addition of the children voxs in the background deepens the warmth your radiating, your vocal is excellent as always as is the music and production, let his love heal the world, i truly hope so one day Richard, it needs help there's too much conflict and that brings dangers to our streets too, the worlds gone mad bruv, keep spreading the message
RichardShekari
RichardShekari replied 30th Apr 2026 - 3 weeks ago
Thank you so much, I really appreciate this more than you know. Its always good to see how were all contributing and adding impact to the Looperman community in our own ways, and Im grateful to be part of that shared space.

Im glad the message and vibe came through clearly to you. The childrens vocals were very intentional; the idea was to bring in a sense of innocence and hope. And yes, I share your concern about the state of the world. Theres a lot of pain and tension everywhere, and sometimes music feels like one of the few ways I can respond to it meaningfully. Truly grateful for your support, bruv.

I also sometimes wonder if things would really be any different if we were the ones in charge. Every leader seems to come in with positive promises during campaigns, and then things shift once theyre in power and comfortable in the seat. It makes me think about whether artists in general, musicians, painters, sculptors, would do any better if given that kind of responsibility, or if were just better at pointing out whats wrong than actually fixing it when its our turn. Maybe Im just thinking out loud here

Hello Paul,
so nice of you to take the time and listen to the entire album. Thank you as well for the likes and the repost, that really means a lot.
I also think that the full year of work that went into this production has paid off beautifully. And of course youre right: the previously released single Echo of My Time is the absolute hit. You can clearly see that in the numbers, the clicks and the almost 40,000 views on YouTube speak for themselves.
Thank you for your time,
warm greetings,
Manuela

P.S. Im keeping my fingers crossed for you tomorrow!

on Breathing In The Light by juankar
hello my friend, this is a really nice piece of work, the vocal is stunning the music is beautiful with a great beat, Manuela's advice is spot on, she told me long ago about filling the stage the vocalist has its place and the instruments have theirs too. Its all about the balance of them put together, picture a band in front of you were the instruments sit and how the sound hits the audience, I'm sure you have been to enough concerts try and mix with that in mind you have your main work central and then overlays with right and left movements, stereo separation, cru also gave good advice, switching things down, lots of times it gives you more, although I think this sounds perfect so your not doing bad considering you say your still learning, a great piece you should be extremely proud of, it lacks nothing to my big ears
juankar
juankar replied 24th Apr 2026 - 1 month ago
Thank you so much for your advice.
The vocals on the first two songs are by Odarka, whose voice I found spectacular. I created this vocal using AI because I wanted to express in the lyrics what I had in mind and adapt it to the chords I had already partially created. I find each process very complicated. Too many parameters and adjustments in the plugins. Many times I can't tell if it sounds better or worse when I change something; perhaps at my age my ear is no longer able to distinguish certain things. I started watching tutorials after Christmas, and in March I finished my first song, which I published here. In the next few days, I'll upload a new, very simple one, which I'm using to put into practice the advice you give me in the community about effects, panning, and things like that. And above all, to see what mastering is like, since I've never done it before. I'll wait for the community's advice on what I'm doing wrong.

I'm glad you liked it, and thank you for your comments.

All the best.

on Dimestop - I make P - TheFrenZ Remix by TheFrenZ
Frans I'm extremely honored that you done this remix, it's so creative, trance/techno who'd have thought it eh, its genius, a dance-floor banger, I have a HUGE grin on my face, i would never of imagined it,

I like the introductions, love the beat and music its a tight fit, I love the track the female vox and I'm sure the other male is you, are also top notch, downloaded and faved, and judging the comments so far, they all think its a great idea and probably as surprised as me, they like your work.

this is seriously good out the box thinking, that's why i love this place because people are daring, we don't always get it right, no, but when it works, it works, like your remix. yes i'm bias because I'm the lead vox, but it blew me away bruv.
thankyou so much for this gift, I'm all set for the weekend now and this is on my playlist I'm on about half a dozen listens already lol, bedankt maat

Thanks Paul, I love that you love it :) and thanks to you for sharing your gems and giving us the chance to fiddle with it. Creating this was so much fun, it really started while I was working on a half baked psytrance drop ;) took a break, listened to your track and got mesmerised, is it possible to incorporate that rap into my track? After playing around, a start was made and the journey started. The female vox is GT, the male is me, and for my rap I had to slowdown the DAW speed considerably ;) to record my lyrics "ripping and clipping the words from your verse, chopping and dropping at the place they deserve"

And for the boxes, this is the advantage of a newcomer, I still have little idea of genre boundaries or musical rules and I don't care that much, an age thing I guess; for me, it's still all about feeling. If I like it, it's good. On a regular basis I lie on a sunbed in my garden, wearing noise cancelling earplugs and listen my own tracks for hours on end.

Again thanks to you for your gem, this track wouldnt exist without you.

PS. Still want to create a psytrance piece ;)
