Hey, Sorry for the disappearing act. There's lots going on with my Elderly Dad, and work is intense (in a good way). I'm getting the itch again to record. I always have loved this chord Progression and the Key of FMinor

bonjour jmfa, i really like how you highlighted Manuela on this piece, the music and choice of instruments are great love the keys and the sax is magnifique, the sisters are wonderful artists, ive had the pleasure of collabing with them both, as you put it your back learning so im assuming we have more to look forward to from you, well done my friend it was a really nice listen and we all here things we think we need to change when listening back afterwards, this sounds good so don't play to much if your revisiting it, Manuela's feedback is the most important and she has already given you a great score, well done bro

had to reply, i play keys not great but enough, im not a concert pianist lol, and i can drum dont play guitar although i;d like to, but i never say no, i might pick one up one day, but like you my friend synths are a god send i play a full orchestra on keys, brass strings woodwind whatever i want, then i'll play the keys along to it when i got it laid out, and being 30 mins from the coast isn't bad tbf, when i go home, i always go to the coast my family are 10 mins drive from Redcar and Whitby is just up the road, we also have another possibly 10 coastlines within 20 -30 mins, ten minutes drive the opposite way your in pristine North Yorkshire countryside, my home town was an industrial hotbed we are bridge builders, Sydney Harbour bridge was built in my town, along with many more famous ones, we had ICI British Steel plants 35,000 worked there in there hay days, our steel was classed as the strongest because of the iron ore that comes from the hills in Easton, my parents live at the foot of these hills now, the industry has gone the town is horrendous crime and drug ridden my family moved out of town years ago, i left at 18, but im still lucky to of had it all on my doorstep as a youngster, and like you, i love my see food whelks cockles mussells oysters crab langoustine fish crabs all freshly caught that morning we could buy it off the boats as they rolled in, i love Mackarel, you know a bit more about me now :))

Thank you Paul, it is so encouraging to know there are still people who want to conversate, not in the formal way but as everyday, next door pals. Lets say like old time neighbors. To get to know in a more "old fashioned" way. It is of course via new technologies but I can tell, you are a very good neighbor. Thank you for your open character, I do understand how you feel and it is great to know a bit more about you, so interesting and so meaningful.
My best regards, Anthony

on The seashore by AnthonyAttard
nice authentic track Anthony, love the acoustic guitar, i was born 10 mins drive from the coast, i love the sea, I'm a Pisces', i could sit in the shallow waters with the band playing round me, all day long, its so serene and captures the vision of your description your a talented musician mate, I'm i right in thinking its you playing, i think you play piano and guitar

Hello Paul
So glad you visited and listened to another of my oceanic songs. Ive always wanted to live by the sea but actually I never did. It remained kind of a dream. Luckily, mainly during the summer we have the opportunity to be in the clear water, enjoying the salt and the sun. A walk by the sea or a nicely cooked fish though are at our disposal throughout the year, if we decide to drive for about half an hour (the nearest shores are a nearby destination). I am really content you liked this music. It is awesome with technology and sampling and synths or virtual synths the capability to give the user such a way of expression. I mean I never recorded a real guitar for this song. Everything is played on a keyboard taking advantage of the midi functions and the sampling potential.
Thank you so much for your kind approach to my work, I really appreciate it.
My best regards Anthony.

on Celebrate the Cornerstone by RichardShekari
another track of exceptional quality, fire bass John, standout in fact. great vocal, a great slow precious start and into that slighter high as you praise your lord and saviour, a true breath of fresh air to our ears on LM irrelevant of your belief to hear two guys singing from their hearts, extremely talented musicians playing too, keep spreading your love gents, it catches hold, truly what is not to like here, absolutely nothing....... like the Edwin Starr song War, say it again, absolutely nothing :))

Thank you so much for the incredible feedback, Dimestop! Im really glad you enjoyed the track. Johns bass work truly shines; I wish I could play half as well as he does, haha! It means a lot to hear that the vocals and heartfelt message resonated with you. Were committed to spreading that love in every way we can! Bless you - I thought about you when I did that rap - rapping is an Art! When you have a crack yourself, you realise who is good at it and how good and you are a brilliant rapper! Can you imagine, lil 'ol Kay0s matching beat with emotion! Fortunately, I have a VERY patient producer and musical director! Fairytale..I love that fantasy angle. Thank you so much for your encouragement! Kay0s

the comment section is appalling on this site, quite frankly the restrictions are a stupid idea the place is a shambles everyone's give up on it the update is absolutely garbage it says 3000 for a reply i get the limit exceeds 1000 then underneath min3 max3000 WTF admin are shite and aren't interested there more interested in their sponsors than the people and artist that give them the money they make, all we get is a useless platform with pretty colours its about to die a death in my opinion
ValveDriver
ValveDriver replied 27th Oct 2024 - 1 year ago
Yeah. There are a lot of bugs since the update. But I don't really think it's going to die. At least I hope not. I guess that depends one whether or not Shan listens to the people and makes some changes accordingly. I guess we'll see.

otherwise you fear for the rest of your days waiting for the clip to click, then bang, your done, breathless. like this piece, takes your breath away quality mix and transitions, great sound, the music is the selling point the vocal clip is a great placement and the choir is lit, it sounds great on both speaker and headset mate back to back listens, had me poppin and strobing bro top top job.
ValveDriver
ValveDriver replied 27th Oct 2024 - 1 year ago
Paul, how are you, friend? Well, I hope.
I will say that since I've been here, I have learned that the Valvedriver brand has definitely carved out a signature sound. It's been said that it does carry through in whichever genre I go with. Funny thing is, I can hear it, I can feel it, but I have no idea where exactly it comes from or even how to pinpoint it.
The choir bit in this track is from one of my favorite pieces, "Miserere mei, Deus". Although I'm not religious, (rather anti-religious, actually), it's still such a powerful piece. I had to use it.
I'm glad to hear that it sounds good on multiple systems To be honest, I've been pretty lazy about double checking on all my different tester systems. I just shoot it out there and hope for the best. lol.
Always good to hear from you, mister.
Take care.
Aaron.

Aaron I'm not yet 4 years in, you have been a regular listen for me, you also linked me to your older tracks too, so i know exactly what to expect from you, i love the industrial and metal elements in your pieces always, add the electronic edge too, its your own distinct style, we are friends and you always compliment me when i add darkness to work, which i love and respect because you always add from the man who does nothing but dark :))) this isn't dark, this is death, you shot me six times in the track that hardy bitch popping off shots, a track off fear and menace, when the dark lord V speaks you listen,

great cover Mickey, i love this track too, love your vocal production, you sound really good and done the track justice, you made it your own, really enjoyed the listen, oh yeah baby
Micky
Micky replied 26th Oct 2024 - 1 year ago
Thank you Paul, it may be too pop for many people here, but I just had to do it because I've wanted to do it for years and now it's happened. But ultimately it's just an exercise in singing in multiple voices and mixing them. It's also a prime example of the classic structure of a pop song with verse, bridge, chorus, etc.
Cheers,
Micky
