Different in a very good way. Loving your guitars and the words are right on, this is subversive and insidious somehow. Mix and production sound great too.

I feel like a broken record always saying how much I appreciate your music. But again this is lovely, gentle and uplifting. Like the sun through leaves.

dude you have no idea how much it is appreciated each time, truly. i am most happy about the descriptive imagery of the sun through leaves, thank you my friend! Much love to you!

Always look forward to a new cosmic excursion with you two. Micky's vox are a perfect match for this, old school and contemporary at the same time. Like the double up delayed synth lines at 3 mins, is a cool effect, I did it on my blood moon track, messes with your head.

Dude this is just perfection all round. Vox are amazing, words intelligent. And the guitar work is totally compelling. Great mix and production to boot. Almost a while my guitar gently weeps vibe.

Thank you! It's so wonderful to hear that something you've done has caused enjoyment. I continue to wrestle with this group of songs and what I should do with them ultimately, so it's really helpful to get feedback like yours to think about (and I do).

on Night Rain - Ambient Lofi in C by pseudoble

I agree with all crucethus said. I listen to a bit of ambient it's a genre I love. This is beautiful. To me it is a little reminiscent of something Helios might have done.

pseudoble replied 9th Mar 2022 - 4 years ago

Hey Chris - thanks mate

How you doing?- Im working on some stuff that is not going anywhere ... might email you and see if you have some ideas on how to rescue it .... just twisted part of it and made a new one as it is - but the old parts kind of okay

What a lovely surprise, this is so good. Wasn't expecting a song given the genre you tagged it as. Love the words and voice.

toastedavalanche replied 10th Mar 2022 - 4 years ago

I was hesitant to label the song as cinematic for the very reason you point out. But as the title suggests, it was always cinematic in my head. I'm glad that it surprised you in a good way. And I thank you for your kind words.

Contemplative and very good. I like this sorry of ambience. When I saw trance as the genre I was thinking electronica since that is most of what's on here. But yes this is trance inducing. Nice guitar tone.

consider me cursed. dark and savage. think i need to play this backwards and see what emerges lol. is that you on the guitar?

ClickbaitCabaret replied 6th Mar 2022 - 4 years ago

The guitar is the VST Evolution Strawberry running through Native Instruments Kontakt Player. I used to play guitar so mapping leads on a piano roll is easy for me to do. I'm a lot better at creating music than I am playing instruments. Thanks for listening & commenting. I appreciate it.

Mystical and mesmorizing and a little bit dangerous. I only know the dcd album toward the within, which may be atypical of their work. But still I do hear the dcd vibe of this.

on Velvety by monkwee

Perfect for my headspace at this point in time:) I'm hearing almost slacker style, almost country. Liked the discordant guitars at the min mark whether or not it was intentional. Needs a vocal...!

monkwee replied 25th Feb 2022 - 4 years ago

Dude thank you! we are on the same wavelength then! Ive been modifying this track for the last 2 days and am working on a vocal track but im having a hard time! i was thinking about the velvet underground's mellower tracks but you're definitely hitting it on the head with the country/slacker feel! Cheers man thank you for the love and much love back to you!

on On The Wildside by Filaofsoul

got me with the bongo/congas rhythm straight off. lead synth is nuts and hooks up with the brass and keys really well. Not always easy coming up with something coherent using just loops, it's a different kind of skill I reckon but you nailed it again.
