thanks Zootman! I love the slow mo vibe the loop offered, it actually came with a lot of layering already done! added a synth, guitars, and sampled the sample lol. I mixed this with a different approach too using Goodhertz free trail plugins. Midside, Lossy and the vulf compressor has helped me tremendously with this beat.

MT and I always go back and forth trading observations and sonic critiques. As for the vinyl effect, I made it very Suttle, almost subliminal to fill in a dimension of the music that you would have to listen to it with different intentions to even know its there. I call it surgical listening. Kind of like when you can identify what frequency a sound sits in. Valuable skill to have when you're mixing and mastering and even sound designing. Thanks again. PEACE. Funny you mentioned the movie that's out, once I started the vocal track and got the Santa Fe idea started I knew immediately I was going to go in that direction towards the Trinity test and all that, ha! I haven't seen the movie yet either but I've seen every documentary and lecture there is on youtube about it. Teller fucks Oppy over big time with all the investigations into him, what a dick.
