n1k10s,
I don't know if you have some knowledge in medieval music, but if you listen to the Miserere of Allegri, you could take some inspirations, for instance. And I see that you could develope something with many voices at different levels, like a choral, that is to say that you could give a real deep effect over all.
But, it's only a suggestion. If you feel good voices, I invite you to listen to classical choirs, and to negro spirituals like gospels.
I really think you can. Try, try and try...
hello,
Good composition, but just a little thing. Sometime, your voice seems to fall down as if you can not maintain it at its note. It makes a special effect, but, I think that if you make longer expirations (like trainings), you could develope a real beautiful voice, but a voice with a strength, which can give a real presence to you music(s).
It's only my opinion, don(t worry, you have this possibility to better control your voice, so...DO IT !
i agree with you wholeheartedly - i am sure i could do loads more with my voice, just... finding the time. not to try and cover my tracks here... but i was sitting when i did the vocal on this (bad move) - and also, like i mentioned, it was all ad-lib (the lyrics) - so this is a one-take track (on the vocals)
but thanks for the advise. i hear what you're saying! thanks!
Thank you, that means a lot :D Making music is a shot in the dark for me, I think I have some amount of natural talent for it though. Only been at it a little more than a year though, composing that is.
hello,
Good music, but (yes, in almost of my reviews, I put a 'BUT'), so, but please, could it be possible to add a bass voice or something like a barytone to balance the high tone of you composition. Hoooo, it's a suggestion, because I like voices, and this woman's voice need a balanced man voice. Ooops, I don't want to make you disturbed with this, but...
Good melody !
Hey,
What I appreciate a lot (after the silence) is that you play nearly to the lowest level. Very good, because just music, no TATAPOUM with hugly drums.
Good job
Hello,
I agree with all of them. Your voice has a little gap , may be a quarter tone difference with the music line.
Try to correct it having a headphone to give you back the position of you voice regarding to the music. Your voice is not false (it doesn't exist), but not really in accord with the orchestra.
There are little exercices to modulate that, like yodling and others.
Good production.
You have a feeling for writing your melodies. That's nice, it makes me thinking to the "American way of life". Many pictures come out my mind listenig to you music(s).
Thank you for this.
Nice composition, What is interesting in your songs is that you use a "biological" rythm, I feel this because this is really natural, not too speed, not tto slow, like a quiet inspiration.

Good for meditation. I like. And if you try with a lower BPM only to feel the impact to the mental ?

Very nice, I like these mixes with many sounds which go well when there is a continuous melody.
Next time, I'l lhear your invention.

Good music, I like the sound of the guitar. May be the reverb of the voice is (for me) a little bit too much present.
Good job !
I am new to recording my own music;; so I appreciate your pointers, I will definitely consider that next time I record =]
