on The Risk by Becca
This is very cool. I like the spoken word a lot. It fits just right. The chords you chose are elegant and menacing, and your sister has pretty voice. On the production side I would center her tracks and have a couple of tracks that spread her out a little, and maybe add a chorus or reverb to take a little of the dryness. Other than that I think you have a very unique and dark sound going on here. You never disappoint!-cheers!

Man Gurl! This is Bangin' The bass sounds amazing! and the drums are heavy heavy. And the modding you have on the wobbles is a feast for the ears! Me and my wife were just trying to figure out the name of the Christmas song that you used to build this piece. Thanks for helping us out!

What a nice way to say Happy Holidays!

Very cool! The vocals are nice. I like what you did with that Grime Bass F loop. The drums you threw over it are freaking sick. Well done Homie!

YEah this has and epic start to it. I think the track moces nicely through the transitions. You def have some good ideas poppin around in there. The bass sounds robust and thick. All this is really missing is some mean ass lyrics slapped on top. Very well done, man.-ch

on J Dub finished version by sn76
Oh yeah! This one takes me back to the day where I would just sit in the corner and melt away in the DnB room. Very hard feel to it too. Like the raggae hits in there to and the mastering is spot. In the email I sent you, I spent a lot of time trying to explain routing to you. I guess that was just wasted time, considering you most likely already know how to do it. lol

Great track, you got some skill.-CH

on Keen by NeonStrawberry
The bass modding is freakin sick! I am hearing some S/C compression on the bass, one thing I noticed when I ma doing a dubstep track is the S/C needs to have a low attack on it so you dont get the crushed bass sound and your kick and bass are not at war for frequency. I think you have some really cool things happening on the track. Subtle electric guitar lead..genius. A little compression tweakage and I think you got something here, bro!-ch

Thanks man, you're right. Tbh forgot how i made this, when and how it sounds, might take another look into it. As for your tips, they also go perfectly for my newest track, it sounds way cleaner than this and such, but I can see some"war"there. So this is freaking useful-thankie!

Break Step! Yeha this is cool as hell. I like the classic sample playery. I would like to hear a half time beat and a thick wobble ddrop at some point but the track def shines-ch

This is really well done. The bass pads sound good with distortion. Nice Breaks @ 1:01 I think the bass sounds good. If you do put a sub under it, I wouldnt make it too prominent. Other than that a very creative piece. Keep em coming-CH

REally diggin this D! I like the vocals,..very well produced. The arped segment that comes in after the first verse is very cool, as well as the bass follows.

on In Paradise (Remixed) by StephenPotter
Very nice! This is relaxing and intriguing. Really diggin the delayed stab melodies. The drums are mello and fit perfectly. I wish it was a finished piece, I see it progressing into a darker realm a little later down the line. Great musik!
StephenPotter
StephenPotter replied Unknown
Hmm.. a darker approach could be the way to go with this one. The drums were all sepearate sample channels in FL, and took forever to get the pattern right. glad I got them sorted. I think I do need to add a few more things to this track, it feels like its not filled up in places and sounds a little empty.

Thanks for the review!

on The Human Zone by Planetjazzbass
Man, you are an amazing musician..bottom line. The bass performance in this track is epic. and the world drums, tablas and such are a perfect fit. I would put this on par with wome of the Pink Floyd experimentation from the late 70's with a def Jazz anchor. The sax sounds perfect...as a matter of fact everything sounds perfect. Very nice journey you have provided me today Jazz. You are a true master of your craft.

Cheers!

Yeah man this hits hard. Diggin the sine synths in the change. Very professional sound club banger! It's like rap meets trance. Really dig it man!

Sounds good on the Subs!

Alen9R replied Unknown
Thanks clinthammer!

I put a little synth,in the first version that I uploaded! But in second version I decided that it might be better to make a stronger synth with variation, so it's a little strange for hip hop sound, to put so much synth!
So yeah Hip Hop meets Trance/Dance..something like that..haha!

Thanks once again for review, much appreciate!
