Not bad, You got some good screams, man. Do you do all of the instruments. are the drums sequenced, or live. Very unique stlye you display here. I cant here any bass, but the music creative and original. and Im digging the heavy chorused and delayed segments that remind me of early marilyn manson. Good sh1t!
thanks for the review, the only instruments I have are my voice and guitar, I put the drums together with fl studio. I have a set effect on my digitech pedal that makes the guitar sound like a bass, but I don't use it much.
oh man, I love this comment, that's how I try to go about living, one big club scene where you feel totally at home. (now to start making a living for myself hehe) Glad to please people, hopefully I wont be loosing me built up standard over time, thnx for a good remenisce man, ...we gonna party like its 1999... hehe
Yeha man, This is a nice experiment in sound here. Very Unique! The chime intro is eerie and relaxing. Nice synths too. Really dig your style Man, Keep it up.-cw
High learning is wrong! the drums are what make this track unique and bad azz! I think this is the most original hip hop track I have heard on here. Fantastic beat and melodies, man! Great tune!
Pretty cool man! I would prolly put this is cinematic or big beat. This is a nice throw back to the 90's. Feels like the Matrix sound track in terms of epic score. The notes you chose were a good listen, really dig the piano segments. Kudos, man!
yes man this is top! diggin the bloddhound gang vibe in it. lol The synths are thick and juicy. Really like the arped section. I think this is a dance track more than trance, wait what? now I hear some hardcore electro in there. Def a nice melding of style. all of it sounds pro, man. Good job!
Long live the Dead People! lol yeah this is jammin! Def like the th sense cut. I think the bass could be a little louder, but it doesnt need it. yeah this is epic writing bro diggin the melodies and atmosphere in this one. Good job, Chriss! Keep em comin'
The melodies are nice, especially the plucked lead. I like how progressive the track is. I think that you have some skills. The only thing I hear is it seems to have a soft clip on the master compression and the drums might be taking some of the real estate up in the threshold. Other than that the music is epic!
No reviews? ...crazy. This is quality my friend. Really like what is goins on with that bop vocal. diggin ur style. nice melody synths , and the bass is def bangin!
lol nice track name. Has a very trancy intro. I like the use of verb on this one. very cool sounds happening when the verb overlays. Thick drums and a good driving riddim. Nice!
cool vocals mixed in there too. good sound. dont really hear the weird so much as eccentricity and uniqueness. Keep it up, kid!
Yes yes. This is a crazy ride. really diggin the plucks in there. and the change at 0:50 is thick and nice. Diggin the flute chops as well. Thick Breaks bass. all around sweet tune. Fav'd
YEah the beat is hittin on this one. I think you may have a little conflict with the reverb and compression. Are you using the master compression in record or are you using reason? a lot of times the master compressor in record doesnt work too well for me. A tip if you want it.... I always use the 8-band parrallel compression effect on the hardware interface at the top of your rack. adjust the attack and release to your liking, I think this is the best way to master your tracks in reason.
right click on the interface at the top of your rack> go to create effect> 8 band parallel compression. you will immediately hear a difference. but then you can play around with all of the settings.
Note: if you use this effect, do not use a mastering suite. also it will make your track louder so be sure to bring the master lvl down a bit before you apply it.
I dont know if this will help you or if you already know this(you probbly do).
Other than that the track is very creepy and has a evil sound to it. VEry nice arrangement and synth work as well.
IF this was more than you wanted sorry...lol
Sweet tune, man. Clear up the compression issues and I think it will sound sick as hell.
I really like this. Very mellow and relaxing. Awesome reggae synths man. everything feels right in this track. Make a me a wan' hit da big spliff and take da ganja straight to de dome!!
Spiv, This is the very best I have heard from you. This is amazing! the wah wah synths and the spoken word from your wife....everything fits together so well. Hands down, dude....this is your best.
The very best, huh? I'm really glad you think so, because I'm pretty proud of it! I really like using my wife's voice in production, I wish she'd do more recordings! Thanks so much for the review and the fave!
I dont think I have ever heard anything like this. VEry much in the vein of the great Spiv. Very original sound. Lol I like the gated vocals, very cool. and the horn sample ties it all together. Very very cool, SPiv!
Glad I could give you a new sonic experience with this one! Thanks for saying it's original! Yeah, the vocals turned out pretty good on this one. Thanks so much for returning the favour of some reviews!
Intro sounds cool as hell. Hey man if you use combi I can totally hook you up with some of my sig patches. Mostly dub basses and DnB but I think you will like the routing and synths. shoot me a message if you want them.
As far as the song goes. Very dark and neurotic. My kind of music. I like the creepy orgasms in there. is that a subtractor bass you got going in there? very cool sounds here. Good job man.
Very Thick and tasty. I like what you are doing with the bell sample in the percussion. Oh wow those synths are freakin killin it. Yeah this is hittin hard as hell. Sweet tune mane!
Cool bass sound. once mastered and everything should come out nicely. I would prolly add a little more high mids. .. u know to get the nasty out in it. Sounds good though. nice a mello vibe, you should finish.
