I agree that the vocals blend so well with the somber mood and the emotion of the song.It's so great when the lyrics&music together really do reflect the mood intended,it shows your own intent at being the really great artist you are.
Wow Becca,this is great!You and Uncle Funk really have it together on this,very impressive and you have put emotion into this style that I usually don't hear sometimes.Yea,I'm old but I can still hear it...without an aid,I just turn it up louder :)
Great Steinaa!You know how to create the atmosphere for this style of metal.Your music always reminds me of a landscape,hard to pin it down and you can't find it on a map...it's truly your sound and that's so impressive.
Great drums and the bass rocks.The part at 1:37 with the guitar changes are the things that bring emotion to your songs and you know that can be lost in metal at times but you're no novice and certainly emotional about your music...it shines my friend,and very brightly!

Always a pleasure to read your reviews. I found the bass abit too high in the mix after some listening, but I decided to leave it with that. And I'm a novice at bass-playing, AND mixing the bass.. Going without a plectrum and its a challenge for me timing-wise. (It just seems so odd to play without a plectrum..!) Although it doesnt always show in my songs, I'm a major fan of acoustic rock-pieces, and therefore I try to incorporate small pieces into my music at times. Anyway, I really appreciate you leaving a comment on this one. In my humble opinion, you're one of the best guitarists on the site. Thanks again for your kind words, and keep those sweet riffs of your coming.
I love house beats SP,I have tried to get a beat together like this to blend with rock guitars,not easy.

I always blame my background and ears for hearing rock flavors in a track and this appeals to that and the genres you mentioned.
I have to give special credit to Alexander,I did love the video you posted of him and Jean Toussaint,great stuff for your son and anyone to be a part of and he proved himself A fine performer.
You have a great sense of the importance of a great stereo mix,I think it's been overlooked at times but it makes so,so much of a difference when you get those layers spread out and blended in the way you have here...I think it can make or break a production and you made it happen,though I'm not surprised,you are a true pro and I know you have a firm grasp on how the song should sound!

That was thoughtful comment Allen. Thanks. I could probably play one chord on a real guitar, but thats about it. But for this particular piece I tried my best to get that acoustic feel.
I love it Alen..it has a hard edge to it that appeals especially to a rock guy like myself,yea go ahead and call it hip hop..it is but I hear everything you do with rock ears and I absolutely love it..you have a very distinct flavor in your tracks that I've always appreciated and this is no exception!
