This is a cool track, but it feels like its missing something, I think you could add more to this as far as the beat is concerned like some glitchy breaks or sliced noise samples(?)

This reminds me of a hip hop version of godflesh. Very Cool, should collaborate with me on a track for my noise hip hop album.

you made this in 1 hour? Love it! Love the breaks along with the heavy wub bass. What program did you make this with? I have a hard time getting a good wub bass effect on fl studio.
Alen9R
Alen9R replied Unknown
I made wub bass and everything else(synth) in sytrus,Fl!
It is very easy to make wub bass in sytrus, and 303Osc,you need just cut off attack, and use automation clips or edit event to make a variation(you probably already know that)! Also its good put effect as Fast dist, blood overdrive, and multband compressor,(I am not used here)! Then you get loud noizi bass, and you have fun:)
check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEBe6lkMEbk

Contact me if you want, and I'll send you a couple sytrus wub presents!
Thanks for review and listening, much appreciated!

nice work on matching the acappellas up with the instrumental parts of the song. The acapella seems a bit off like you said but I think that minor imperfection gives the song an organic feel.

Love the guitar, love that heavy wall of distortion, sort of what I want to do with my next dead pixel album. Maybe a collaboration is in order?

This is cool dude, I love genghis tron! Everything is put together well. I see your a fan of slayer lol. Be sure to embrace the great fruity slicer for glitchy breakdowns my friend. Keep up the good work.

You know, I absolutely never use the slicer.. For me it's alllll vst programmed and automated, or sliced in playlist/piano roll. I do need to learn how to use that damn thing though :/ Point me towards a good tutorial?

on The Hiragana Diaries by DJLightwerks7
This track has potential. I can tell your using fruityloops, I would consider adding more instrumental to the track. You got an asian sound going here, I would suggest using something from the plucked instruments, that and some kind of bassline.

Your vocals remind me of a cross between Oghr and Peter Christopherson, which is badass. Like the heavy reverb and the synths, well done.

I love that panning sample, is that a voice being sampled? Weird...you're style reminds me a lot of someone I know...
DJTiberus

The voice is sampled through a slicer.

This is electronic jazzy GARBAGE!!! I LOVE IT!!! Crazy track man!
What would be real cool is if you could incorporate metal into this somehow, and listening to this gives me the impression that you experiment with different sounds. I would adjust some of the levels tho.

Btw do you use fl studio? I wanted to collaborate with some people on the album I'm working on.
DJTiberus
DJTiberus replied Unknown
Thanks,

I actually do use FL 9

hmmm metal, it might work it would take the speed/digi feeling away from it though

on From Below by djbirchtree
This is cool, ha! I knew you listened to Prodigy! My suggestion would be to add some crazy breakdown with some octave shifting synths and maybe an electronic guitar riff or something at the end.

on Top Lip (Saxobones) by SLAPJOHNSON
Funky. Love how you play that saxophone, and everything harmonizes real well. More recently I would have to say Naked City and Mr. Bungle have been getting me into jazz. used your loops quite frequently (though sometimes I slice em up) I'll let u know which ones.

Wait a minute, where'd u get that sample near the end? cuz its in song to the siren by the chemical brothers. Like the time signature and the wall of noise, but it could be a bit longer.

Wow...does somebody listen to coil? Well at least it sounds a bit like Coil. This is really cool, to be honest I'm a bit sick of EBM Industrial, I like the more oldschool stuff, and you hit it dead on, Nice work dude.

Love the crazy glitchy breakdown in the beginning. It reminds me of Pendulum a bit. Maybe add some strings or something halfway through the song to give depth and MORE GLITCHY BREAKDOWNS!

Erie track, I like it, I would say its breakbeat. Its got an oldschool aphex twin feel to it. Also...I've noticed when I post songs under the genre weird I get less hits.
