on The Black in Blue by Planetjazzbass
Masterfully done, Love the whole experimental aspect of this track. So much depth with the sound collage, reminds me of a rain forest. The recording quality is great and your levels sound perfect.

on Escapism by alanafayestarr
yeah this does have a videogame sound to it, that and a whole lot more. Its very industrial and atmospheric and reminds me of the bites album from skinny puppy. And yes it does make me want to get away lol.

on Ebola ProJeKt - Exorcise by the_Ebola_ProJeKt
seeing more SP influence here. I like the ambient beginning, and then it changed half way through, and when that happened, I liked it more lol. Nice use on the samples too.

on Ebola ProJeKt - prayer for a breath by the_Ebola_ProJeKt
Don't forget about the anti-music movement from throbbing gristle, which also spawned coil, which is similar in many ways to SP

yeah I actually heard that gristle was back together or something? strange.. it's been like 30 years lol

on Ebola ProJeKt - beneath me (early dub) by the_Ebola_ProJeKt
I hear ya distortion can be a bi tch sometimes. There was a point in me making music where I would highly distort everything lol. Love the panning, cant wait to hear the guitar riff.

44? lol, nice track, Wish there was more industrial like this nowadays.

You and me both brother .. and yes 44 ... It's funny what people consider industrial these days. It's like it means something completely different than what it used to. Puppy was doing back in 1981 what bands nowadays could only hope to. They started it all.

I like the sort of Arabian melodies you added to this, adds a nice touch. Definitely sounds better than the last one.

on You Wanna Battle? by BIZAROTRIPS
nice use on the movie sample, and It does remind me of prodigy and chemical brothers in a way. I love the strings in the background too. Along with the vocal sample it adds an organic feel to the rough electronic sound.

I can definitely see the zorn influence here. Nice use on the reverb and chorus(?), gives percussion that wet sound.

on Lies To Light by Repeatmare
Yes, this is excellent, I love the noise samples, may I ask what u used for them?
Repeatmare
Repeatmare replied Unknown
One of them is a loop I found on here and the other one was on a Halloween sound effects cd that they sell at the store for like 5 bucks.

on Totems from the Diaspora by n0mad23
whoa...this is amazing...I love tribal sounding music I sometimes incorporate it into my own...but you...you take it to another level. Bravo.
n0mad23
n0mad23 replied Unknown
This was a challenge. I think there were 3 posted drafts before coming to this final version, and it's the title track to my album released through Mega Monster Music. My attempt to do a World Music track outside the genre - and I think your "tribal sounding" is how. Bootstrapped into the current moment with every electronic manipulation possible. House/Trance/Rave music really is a replication of ecstatic traditions of long ago. And to think, I not only resisted loops, I once sneered at them! Sure glad I got over that one. Cheers.

on (work in progress) no title yet by nuclearzombies
Honestly I wouldn't use the text to speech, I would leave that to Benni Benassi...and yes that your talking about sample. btw I love the hardware you use lol.

nuclearzombies replied Unknown
hmmm, i am kinda iffy on the text2speech, it worked for me the one time but since have not been able to catch the magic.. looks like I'm gonna have to bust out the mic or find a vocalist, this project did start with one of my dark rants on paper....

on (work in progress) no title yet by nuclearzombies
I like it but there would be some things I would change, like when You use the movie sample mabye add a drony guitar or synth in the background with pitch bending and/or make it get louder and louder and maybe some distortion on the drums?(which could be louder along with the guitar) Got a good thing going here.
nuclearzombies
nuclearzombies replied Unknown
ok, this is some good criticism here, thanks.
-you mean the movies samples with the screaming and the dude talkin about the end right?
- yes, the drums and guitars are currently at a lower volume to expose the less obvious elements. they will be turned up a bit, I assure you!
-any thoughts on the text 2 speech?

Again, many thanks deadpixel!

When I hear this it automatically reminds me of the I care Because you do album by Aphex Twin. I get a lot of inspiration from Richard James when it comes to doing electronic music.

I like this, it's fun and bizarre...that poor poor ant... and the only thing I didn't like was how the sustain was on the synth...maybe add delay?
bcway
bcway replied Unknown
