nice dude this turned out really awesome. you've got the basics down for arrangement, builds and changes, good mixing of volumes and whatnot. i think it turned out really well keep it up!
Like your dubwork dude. Nice breaks and a good sound. I also use fl a lot for certain sounds i find it can really formulate some amazing sounds and easily. keep it up!
nice job i like how soft the energy is in it. I've always liked Romyharmony's voice as well. She actually turned me down once for a collab because she had too much on the go already. Maybe one day lol. I would have put more stereo on her voice instead of keeping it so centered just to make it more "filling" but all in all great stuff. good job!
Thanx for the comment. The vocals are in stereo though. Hard L and R. I ran them through maxim plugin to give more presence. It's probably do to the pore mix job. I'm new to the mixing and mastering end of making music. If you have any specific suggestions it would be appreciated.
i like your sample use! did you get your one sample from my song Gated? if you did awesome lol if not we made the exact same sample, crazy. I like your beat when it kicks in it really brought it to life. good job
i really like that opening ambient sound.. very nice! i like its freqs and panning. its amazing what a good ambiance can do to a piece and it worked very well here. keep up the good work!
the opening sound is just the same thing with the pan removed. ive been experimenting with industrial dubstep too.
lot of the soundwork designed with sophia, its a great synth and its free so i guess i highly recommend it. great for industrial, IDm and dark ambient http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?id=367
Good job dude. I see you tried to get that superbassy feeling for your kick. There's a trick to this. This took me a while to learn. If i had to take an educated guess i would say you doubled up your kick sequence to give it more power. This will work to a degree but doing this will also take away other frequencies that are using that hz level. If you just put more volume or gain to it to get that effect I would back it back off, then try experimenting with sub bass levels, not the actual kick. There are many ways to do this but a quick way is to bring the kick into an editor such as cooledit or something, then filter everything out of it besides sub frequencies. In order to do this you need a stereo or amp that can handle sub frequencies or you just won't hear anything. then just save as a new file and overlap this over the original kick. This way you aren't overstocking frequency ranges you are actually using a lower one instead. With some tinkering and time you will get the effect. And be sure to listen to your track on as many different stereos and devices as you can. Right now I'm on a friends system. He has crappy speakers so the song kinda grumbles a lot because of gain levels and his speakers inability to make sense of it. On my studio speakers at home it might sound wonderful. So test it everywhere you can. Also look into layering for the keyboards. it will give more depth and help fill "empty space". Good job though. I wouldn't have written so much if I didn't think you as an artist wasn't worth it. So keep at it. If you have any more questions feel free to drop me a line and I'll help the best I can. wow this is the longest review I have ever given. congrats!
Haha there should always be a first time :P
Very much thanks i really appreciate it for the useful info, my problem is i only listen many times to a track with my speakers. When i think it's good i save it and then i listen with my headset, if i find that okej i let it as it be. Because if i want to listen to more audio systems with a track i must put it on a CD or usb for my car (for some reason i dont want to put my usb out of my car right now). Layering is not really my strongest side but i try it all out... Anyway thanks for youre time and comment.
Good job dude! I like the breakstyle of the beat and the guitar worked out very well and has a nice sound to it. no fuzziness. good job. nice sampling as well. keep it up!
oh I posted empty summer nights on my profile it grew on me haha. As well as until your heart stops beating. feel free to post that on your other sites if you wanted to. I saw the vid someone did for ESN too how cool is that.. stay in touch dude and let me know when you have some time. this song rules
Wow real nice dude. great work with the drums.. the energy really comes through with them. I really like about 2:10ish in the mad solo then it gets real heavy n crunchy.. very nice.. the drumwork there was mad. Two thumbs way up...
wow good track dude. I like that detuning effect you have to end that one piano sequence. It's the little things that make a feeling in a track. I like it. And your mix is fine.
Good stuff dude. The beat sounds like something off an early ministry album which is cool. The main synthriff is a dubstep I believe. Something I'm kinda looking into now. Its nice to see others doing this genre as well.
wow so very yin I really like this. I totally downloaded it.. I would love to speak with you more about your vocals. They're so very feminine its really quite amazing.. I'm actually in the midst of writing one about the same thing and would love to get your opinion on it and perhaps have you sing for it.. let me know if you're interested. :)
correction I'm TRYING to download it lol.. how the hell do you download a track on here?
