Thought the vocals were really strong in this one. I like the effects and harmonies you did and how you mixed them. Great song overall, liked it a lot.
haha thanks alot man, tho im not sure im as happy with this one as you are haha, im not even sure why...theres just parts of it that i cringe at , haha but...you never quite get used to hearing your own voice i guess
Cool tune Chad, kinda dark, industrial, techno, funk rock thing you got here. The snare really pops. The different sounds made it interesting all the way through.
This was very cool and a little different approach with the vocals. There was just the right amount of production in this song, wasn't overdone, just perfect.
I liked your track, nice song. I think your vocal idea was great and the male vocal fit right in there. The music was very well arranged!
I suggest you remix this again and focus on the piano, it sounds a bit too loud and I think it needs some eq/effects attention. I think some levels need to be adjusted slightly to get a more even mix. Just my opinion. :)
Really liked this, the beat was great. That break was awesome and fit perfectly. Nice production, listened to it on headphones and you did some cool things.
Thanks...that was the aim. I narrowed my choices to Cinematic, Religious or Weird for this track. However, I didn't want to put it in the religious genre since I don't really want it to be interpreted as advocating one religion over another and I also do not want it to be considered weird. I finally chose Cinematic in hopes that maybe listeners would create their own imaginary movie and draw their own conclusions about the piece. -Ken
Hey there Wayne. Nope, that's not me playing - my actual hands on playing is very different - I'm not sure how to describe it - ok, how's this - drummers love me, singers hate me, and guitarists tolerate me (strong guitarsist love to dual with me )...lol.
Those loops you are asking about I engineered ( I don't say created because of the programing, computor...etc envolved which sometimes takes out some of the human-ness - that's one of the reasons I mostly use MM15 in which some human-ness can be retained somewhat - I hope this makes sense ) Thank you for the review.
I liked this, the drum/percussion during the verse was cool. Thought the vocals could have been louder and thought the chorus needs a little attention, things came in a bit loud. This song def rocked and was very well constructed but as a suggestion, make a few little adjustments on some levels. Other than that, rock on dude!!lol This was pretty cool man.
This is a pretty cool idea. As a suggestion, I think you should re mix it and watch your volume levels, things seem a bit loud and distorted on a couple tracks. Easy enough to fix. I like it, very indie label sounding tune!
Could someone explain what I just heard, lol!! Wow, this was really quite a well put together production. Everything mixed together so well, the differents sounds, places, emotions....
Neatly packaged tune here, there seems to be just the right amount of each instrument. This would stand well as an instrumental, not saying the vox are bad but the music alone is pretty interesting. Reminds me in some ways of Brian Eno stuff.
Real nice production, sounds great!!. Nice overall composition, just a complete song on so many levels. You have a great voice, it didn't matter that I didn't understand the lyrics, just enjoyed it!!
Man, this is pretty freekin cool......Your description of the track cracked me up!! The bass just pops in this one. Do you mic an amp? If so what do you play through? Leeme guess......Vintage Ampeg cab with a Gallien Krueger head, am I close?lol
Great composition here and what can I say that hasn't already been said by some extremely talented people from this site. The whole feel of this song is hypnotic, from the percussion to the great sounds of Slap himself. Your bass has that really nice jazz smoothness to it, very Jaco(the man). Quite impressed once again!
