Very upbeat tempo, very nice track. Liked the vocals. I wonder what you could do with it if you spent some more time on it, do you plan on doing any more to it?
Thanks man! Yea i plan on making it longer and anding more to it real soon! Im glad you liked it! i was surprised how cool i thought it was and it only took 30 min to write/record it! lol..
Thanks a lot my friend.Love working with you too.I think your percussions really give a nice feel to the track. This one is intentionally exaggeratingly sad,lol
Cheers

Reminds me of a Stan Getz type of melody, Girl From Ipinema type thing. This is really some good stuff here. The recording has a little hiss but it sounds alright.
Hi Wayne,
I guess it is in that kind of Getz vein. This is really old (about 15+ years). I have lots of old material that might yet see the light of day if I can remix it and bring it up to standard somehow.
Excellent tune and quality recording, pro tools, right? The guitars sound awesome. Did you play the fiddle as well? This is a lot of fun to listen to, a little Waylon Jennings type beat on the 2nd part.
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my country tune. I see after I posted it, it disappeard off the front page within 1/2 hour with so many others posting too.
So I doubt that many even saw it come up.
Oh well, there is always the featured section.
No...I do own a fiddle, but this was a loop from a disk I bought...and the drums as well.
I practiced the fiddle when I was younger, but liked fretted instruments better. The only one I own now is a gold colored signed and numbered Charlie Daniels one...that is a keepsake as only 50 of that color were made.
I'll check out your tunes as well as the others here and leave you some comments.
Thanks again,
Randy
This is a really great sounding track . The two different vocals worked so well with the music in the different parts. The piano hook and the strings are catchy, overall a decent production!
When the sax came in I was blown away. That along with the Eastern feel and that trippy drum beats all seemed to work together nicely. Just an awesome musical journey!! Hope to hear some more new tunes soon! Fav and dl!
First, I think the song has great production quality but that doesn't surprise me. Your choice of beat and catchy bass hook really carries this song. But I also have to say that the instruments and effects you chose in this song really accented the bass and drums rather than take it over. To sum it up, you did an awesome job!! Fav!!
I like the skip beat kinda thing you have here. The guitars sounded real nice and paired up nicely with the synths. Nice job putting this one together. The acapellas worked as well!! Nice song overall.
Loved the way this built up to the drums. Nice job with the overall mix, enjoyed it thoroughly from beginning to end. The snare really pops. Like the ocean and bird sounds, they work to set the relaxed feel. Nice!
Wow, your vocals are wonderful, very profesional sounding. A timeless sense to this song, very well put together. I agree with FrenchKid, kinda Kate Bush feeling to this.
Those drums are really crushing! I recognized some of the samples you used, good stuff. I hear what your saying about the beat, it doesn't sound like 200 bpm. Nice job, very cool!
yeah the sample of the guy saying " nothing is over until we decide it is" is actually John belushi from the blues brothers taken and lowered about half an octave.. There's actually a sample of some girl sucking from a porno stuffed in there too :D thanx for the review dude.
I like this kind of music and it's nicely put together. You're right, it's hypnotic in a way. Could also be ethnic genre. The samples sound clear and crisp. Faved and dl!
Hi Wayne,
Thanks for listening to track... yeah, i too love Ash's instrumental. when i heard it an idea immediately came flowing... Thanks for the compliment...
This is a song I could easily hear on the radion, nice production. You vocals are great on this one. The accordian was cool, don't hear a lot of that here and it adds a nice hometown feel to it. Faved!!
