really nice track youve created here man... loving the whole thing..
The only thing i could really say i would change would to maybe keep the track deep & prog'y not put the pianos in until the track breaks down, maybe bring them in with a really nice high string line or summink, then take it back to the deep proggy stuff, axwell stylie. that way it makes you want the piano more......
thx dude
u have the sexy voice :D
again thx for the link...i knew about that but i never used it...this refreshed my memory...to be honest the small amount :D...just to keep it on my mind for the further compositions.again thx for sharing mate...i ll check the other tutz.

Nice track dude really good ideas... i can see why you like it so much man...
are you using Ableton 7 or 8? i only ask because if your using version 8 i would recommend having a play with the new swing features cause they would sound wicked on the bass and drums you have on this one...
thx for review mate!
i use live 8...but i have installed it recently...still learning the ropes in it...i ll try the 'recommendation' ...but i only need to find those features :)...any tip? :)...thx again

Hiya dude, yeah course fella.
its when the big sub kicks hit. takes the whole track over 0db and makes it distort.
As a rule of thumb i always have all my channels at -6db when i start, cause once you got all the sounds on at the same time its easy to go over into the red.
On of the best things i was ever told was.
"You dont need the channels to be loud, its the master that needs to be loud, so for gods sake turn everything down." lol, he was a bit mental tho.... :)
Nice version dude... really like the direction youve taken. synth work is really good man.
The only thing i could suggest would be to maybe alter the sound of the guitar bits a little, as they sound really keyboard, try putting a few sawtooth waves through guitar rig with a high resonance, because the chord progression youve used for the guitars is really good man, specially the ending. It was spot on.
Liked this alot, even tho it was a little short, just made me want to press play again, lol.
The only thing i would change (well apart from making it a little longer to save the play button, lol) Would be to pan the guitar esq parts that come in at the 56 second point, very quickly left, right left, right, with each pluck with a little pit of ping pong delay on it with all the bass cut off the delay. it will open the stereo field right up and sound awesome :)
Nice track man, your definately got your own style here and it works really well.
The only things i could hear maybe letting you down was the drum sounds, it may well be worth investing on something like stylus rmx and the backbeat expansion pack there amazing.. also may be worth adding a little something low in the back ground hi hat wise or an extra snare when the track comes back in at 1:27.
Altho the track works really well with out the above, loved it :)
Really like your tracks dude, they sound clear as a bell.
The arraingment is great and the sound are all spot on.
The only thing i noticed on your tracks is, there is no clear definition between what is a complimentary ambient background sound and what is a forground main sound. I mean everything sounds great,
well made,
well eq'ed,
well chosen
but there all driven quite loud and are the same levels, and i think it detracts a from the depth of sound, even tho there is ton's of potential depth there,
Wicked tracks and vocals tho dude,(im sooooooooooo glad theres no auto tune, most people dont know how to use it and it comes out bloody awfull, lol.) and id love to remix one of your vocals for a uk twist if you ever fancy it :)
Thanks for checkin' me out. I appreciate the input about the levels. It really helps me fine tune my work. If you wanna hear more, check me out on myspace.com/equehits .
Gotta agree with NEPAUL got a very Dwele, Slum Village feel.
I think the only things missing from your tracks is multi take vocals when i say multi take i mean like 15/20 takes of different parts and in different keys all layered up and panned around. also reminds me of a milder version of a uk artist called Tree, his tracks are done by a mate of mine, check him out.
Didnt really have a problem with the length of the track altho by having a track that long you need to compress it a hell of alot to get it on here and the audio quality has suffered because of it. also your kinda trying your best to get peoples ear time and i can see how the thought of sitting infront of a 10 min track can be off putting for some..
Ideas are great, the groove youve made is spot on and works really well with the pads and other parts you bring in and out as the track progress's.
Production wise, try to cut as many frequencys out as you can, eg take all the lows off the high sounds and the highs off the low sounds. and im not sure if it was side chain compression or just the kick a little to loud but the volume was a little un-tamed.
I've not checked but im gonna hazard a guess and say your using fruity loops, the only thing i can really suggest is that you try your best to move away from stock drum and synth sounds
As they tend to sound a little generic.
And yeah, you hazard correctly, I use FL Studio. But none of the sounds I used in this were stock, trust me man. I hate the stock FL drums, they suck hardcore.
Aw hell dude, really nice track you've got here man.
The mix is clean and clear as a bell all the elements really knit together well.
The only thing i may have done extra would be to give the pads more movement specially on the parts like the beginning were its just pads n hats.
Also the second drop @ 4:29 would been a great place to stick an extra dirty wobbly bassline/leed to compliment the normal one.
Altho non of the above comments detract from what is a feckin awesome track dude.
And that's a pretty defensive reply from someone who puts tracks up for comment - Just my Personal opinion :) You must have missed the Reggaeton track i did then!
The kick needs to be stronger or layered up with a sub sine.. or at least a long 808 on the first kik in the bar cause your track aint got alot of bass in it at all, more chance of your car dash board rattling then the boot.
Really like this track dude, loving the way it morphs as the track progress's. The beginning Almost sounds like some lost Quincy jones groove from the moog mad late 70's early 80's.
:D Spudsy I love your music man - so I gotta say I feel I have accomplished something to get a review from you, I really appreciate it!! Love the Quincy jones feel that you mentioned, you threw me even more into love with the opening! Cheers bro.

The kik and the main snare could use being mono'd as they would probably flange a little or cancel each other out on a poor system.
As i say tho apart from that i Thoroughly enjoyed it fella, thanks for sharing.

Will sound even better once you get your studio all set up & move away from the Fruity loops man.
