Really liking the vibe on this... sounds like something ron carrol would sing over... really soulfull..
The only other thig i could add is the percussions at the beginning could maybe use a little less reverb or a low pass to take away the lower reflections altho saying that once the track gets going the reverb sits really really well and compliments the ambiance of the track...
Loved this track. Sounded like it deserved to be on a chill out album..
Did you programme the drum shuffle? or was it a loop either way it works perfect in the track.
The guitar break down was also superb and really helped the song take a perfectly timed twist.
The only thing i would probobly comment on is the Guitar sounded a little over/under streched. if it cant be replayed, i would probly recommend using the audio to midi feature in ableton 8. or maybe proppellerheads recycle and then triggering the sounds on your midi keyboard that way they are not time streched but played in time still.
This track could also sound superb as a Mr Scruff type remix..
Great work fella great sounds also. Abletons Operator?
The only thing i could maybe say is i would have loved to hear a big long breakdown at about 4 mins. from near complete silence to another big build and drop. but thats just me, and it works perfectly well without it :)
dude.... Omg tracks superb, its simplicity is its strong point because all the sounds are so complimentary & just work so well together. please tell me what you used for the organ sound.....
Like BeyondEvolution, gonna be putting this on my iPod asap.
Superb Job on this track the mastering and the production are excellent all the way through.
As soon as i heard the track it immediatly reminded me of Kevin & Perry go large & my Armin Van Buuren state of trance cd from a couple of years ago, lol wicked wicked track, loved it.
As for constructive critique, the only things i could say is, the main riff could maybe use a little more slow movement either via a slow filter or a slow flange and maybe even a second or third string/ leed section playing the same thing higher and lower just to add to the build up.
Part from that as i said its great, iv listened to it all the way through twice now already while writting this, lol :)
Really like this one dude, the keys are sweet and i think the tempo's just fine. if anything a 4x4 beat timbo style and a bass change at the end would rip the floor up...... Have people goin WHoooooaaaaaa..... :)
If i did have to bring up one thing tho it would probably be the choice of drum sounds... but hey, hourse's for course's rite :)
Great Track, u dont need any more sounds apart from maybe a lil bit more percussion here n there but nothin huge cause like i say the tracks great, just something like a really high mini crash for top end sparkle and the odd giro scrape...
Altho you could probably wet up the snaps n claps a fair bit to take up some of the air in between hits, not all of it tho otherwise the track would loose its bounce.. that may have been what DB_sDot was on about.
