on The Difference in Believing by TheAlkaloid
I could tell right off the bat with the buzz and beat that I would dig this. Sounds like the stuff I listen to on Itunes while I work. My kind of style. I like how it builds, then calms, and builds again, rather than just the monotonous style many stick to. Dig it. I thought it might be cool around the two minute mark where the hi hats build, if they were to pan left and right back and forth just before they peak, to give a wave feeling. Just a thought.

Thank you for your kind words, and to be honest I understand exactly what you mean about the hats,
I will have to consider some further effects in later works. Thanks again.

Pretty neat. Shows ability to use and implement different tools for customization and inspired others to learn more.

on Reach your hands up by loopyblue
Pure energy, and the music matches the avatar. Nice. Do you do the vocals or do you mix other vocal loops, and if so, where do I get them. Thanks.

on Work is Never Over by MrNutzo
Dig it. How do you make the robotic vocals. Is it a special software to change any voice, use a premade loop, or have to record it that way? Would love to know. Great mix.

I don't deny my headset is cheap, but I was picking up some crackling in the left piece on this track. This was super relaxing and heartfelt. Excellent.

on Ready to Go by JHolmes
Keep going at it. I think its great when anyone learns to play, and constant practice will give the proper results.

Thanks. I enjoying the large dynamic range you can get on a guitar; it's very different from my classical piano upbringing.

I can't even tell you what notes I'm playing unless I count frets and strings, so I'm pretty much playing entirely by ear. The concept, to me, is quite alien and exciting. I'm enjoying it immensely and have been getting a solid half hour to two hours in every day, fingers permitting.

Those callouses will form eventually...

on TheNumber100 Jam by tweekcity
The only instrument I play is the computer, so you are already doing well. Had a bit 50's sound to it, and if rei4real says good job on the strings, then good job. I couldn't get into the beat as it didn't seem to synch, but if you say it is improvised, then it doesn't matter, because Jim Morrison didn't ask what people thought about their improv...

Just keep do your thing, and you will get better at doing your thing.

on Life and Death of a Star by DJHardBeatz
It felt more like an alien hunter more than a star observer. Like the change ups, but seems like they were on odd counts. First part was a bit monotonous, but I was pleased when the drums kicked in. Maybe add some swirly and other spacey sounds around the three minute mark to build the climax a bit. Yes, this stuff is fun and I liked the theme. With every song you learn, and it gets more fun the better you get. I too am a rookie.

I listened to Aliennation and enjoyed the intro, but when the bass kicked in, it was overwhelming and snapped me out of the vibe, but this is smooth and transitions well. Was rocking in my chair...several different ways.
