Thanks for the review. And sorry for not thanking you for loop/sending you a link. Some of your loops are very good Califken, keep doing what your doing.
THat is intense!! Great work with the drum sweeps - take it down on the higher synths just a tad, imo, but definitely potential in it's rhythms and melodies.
Thanks CalifKen, appreciate the review and for stopping by to check my s**t out ... Yes, trippy is awesome isn't it ? I think so, kinda ties everything together perfectly.
awesome so far - love the vocal bit in with the beat. like the clapping sound with the beat. very interesting track man!! great job on your 1st track on lm. Grrrreat bass work on this.
This is great! Damn - sounds like my summer, as well. Cheers to that. Awesome track here - out of curiousity how was it put together? It all sounds live and organic.
Love this piano work, beautiful. I really appreciate this kind of sound, very much. Very nice. Love the transition to the beat, that's awesome. I'm very impressed man!!!
Great track. Especially this wonderful work on the keys, dig it so much
It's always nice when you've sort of seen someone around the site, online sometimes, mentioned in posts, so you know they're gonna be good. And then you eventually click play on one of their tracks - ah, refreshing. Very cool, this planet of jazz bass. Definitely diggin. I've gotta turn a couple of my friends onto you, they're gonna love this. Jazz man!
Excellent brass and wind work. The brass sounds real, what's the deal? Is it true/
Thanks Cali for a great review..Oh yeah those horns are realer than real..played by none other than our very own SlapJohnston, the guy's a miracle worker,he plays like stepping off the curb, never heard a style he couldn't play..cheers mate planet :)
Wasn't quite sure about the opening synth, but as the track goes on, it really does get great. Lovin all the little sounds here and there. Great track, honestly, I'd cut out the intro-ing synth tho. It is a flavor that for me was definitely not indicative of the rest of the track.
Wow it has slowed down a bit, that is interesting. I think my heart is beating with the music. I wonder what the BPM is... Interesting bits of the beat that you are reeling back in. Nice orchestral sounding synths, THIS TRACK is really cool. It's got a lot of solid, faceted and intricately handsome parts.
Sorry about the delay (school stuff). Yeah, I hear ya. The intro synths were done to give this the feel of the sun beating down on your back (with the visible heat rising off of the surface near the horizon line). Which is where the name comes from. When the bass comes in the song becomes internal so I agree that they do contrast each other (almost anti). The pads near the end mark the bridge where they should fuse together (maybe I'll need to go back n add some effects on the intro synth bits to soften them up a tad). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
yeh cheers bud, ableton rocks, though fl studio has some great applications and sound creation tools, ive not really got into it coz ive learnt using logic, nuendo, ableton and reason, i spend a year on each programme and then decide which 3 main ones im going to concernatrate on, what with the rewire protacol i think you can cover most angles using 3 main DAWS, next year im going to get into flstudio, but i dont like the arrangement facilities, though i might be missing the point or no how to use it properly , maybe ile find out next year when i really pop the lid on it and get to the bottom of it, but asa rewire i think it could be one of the 3 because of the great sound creation it brings and hearing the results users such as ureself have shown me you can get a good track that sounds professional, i dont listen to these ignorant fools that pass it off asa toy, as those peeps are the ones that dont even scratch the surface of the programmes and blame it on their tools as ive found on each of the programmes theres something that u can use to enhance your productions in all of them, who says you have to only use 1 or 2 apps to make a track, steinburg arent going to give you a gold star if you only swear by using cubase and you stay loyal to them are they?!?
