Great work but needs a bit more work with the production. The beat box sounds good but not very clear. The end is a bit abrupt too. Enjoyed it though. Great piano. Later..
This track needs some heavy bass otherwise great work. The intermixed vocals are very cool. Maybe an explosive bit somewhere after the middle? Just an idea if you know what I mean. Enjoyed it.
I think I got stoned listening to this track. As with your other tracks well done for trying something new. You have inspired me to try something I was thinking about!
thanks mate i'm always open to tryin news things lol sometimes they work nd sometimes not good luck with the idea give us a bell well its done nd i'll check it out
I love this big rock sound. I would never have thought you could mix these two tunes but you did and did it well. One of the best tunes I have heard on Looperman. Awesome!
Hello sir,
Thank you so much for listening and reviewing my Van Halen mix tune. I don't believe I have seen your name review any of my previous tunes, so your certainly welcome.
Shortly, I will review one of your tunes and give you feedback as well.
Mixing 2 tunes togather isn't easy and I have heard it done only a few times before. But now and then you hear a song and say to yourself, "now that sounds like another song I am familiar with", and thus the idea is born of trying to mix 2 songs together. That's what happened here.
This is a really cool track. I love the way you use vocal/sample inserts. Well mixed and production is great. I enjoyed this very much. Thanks for sharing. PS the matrix is my fav film.
thanks once again man!
this song all came about when me and a friend were talking about good movies.
the matrix, of course, came up in the discussion.
so i looked for quotes that could tell a story if correctly put together.
i believe the song gives off the vibe of what it would be like if the matrix really existed.
This track is very clever, I loved the vocal inserts. Nice feel to the whole thing. The chop and change works for me. Maybe just a bit too much reverb on the beat in places, just personal choice I know. Great track, well done.
thanks man!
i really appreciate it.
me and my friends are always quoting that movie, Hot Rod, so i figured id test out something new by using movie samples since i dont have a committed vocalist.
and thanks for the constructive criticism on the reverb issue.
its comments like that, that will make me or anybody better
Picked this up from the square. I love cool moody jazz and this did it for me. Great talent and awesome production. Nice to see that it was all you. Well done mate!
Thanks for the review. Glad you like the track. Sounds like it's got the feel I was after. Considering the comments so far I may have to try to come up with something similar. Cheers mate.
I enjoyed your track but kinda felt it had a bit more to offer. Has it been developed much since you submitted it? Some nice tones in there and they are blended well together. Great stuff.
Hey mate, yeah Splish added his side to it for version 1 of this. Since then it's kinda taken a backseat to other stuff. Maybe we'll pick it up again this summer. Later on!
Very strange, I love it like your other track. Really spacey total originality. The kind of stuff the mainstream music industry ignores. Keep it comin'
It is good to push the edges of a genre. Great sound, nice and fat (like me!). Maybe a little bridge somewhere in the middle but otherwise a great tune.
Love that buzzy bass. Made me sweat listening to it. I don't normally like this kind of music but this is very cool. The middle bit lost me but I like the build ups. Keep it cooking mate.
