Being a fellow sax player for 10 years, i can say your sampling is impeccable. i put it down about 4 years ago , but i took a lot with me. Ska bands rock, plain and simple. This song reminds me a lot of the same sounds as Spyro Gyra (maybe spelled wrong.). If ya don't know who that is... then you should. Your songs have a lot of time taken to arrange. its tedious work.. but required. Once my drum set is mic'd i can shoot you some sets or something. but as far as criticism..... ID SAY MORE COWBELL!

great work here man. really learned alot by just listening. alot of people have trouble grabbing simplicity while at the same time making sure the sounds they have are quality. You sir, are the mad scientist.

This beat is great. You make her voice sound like a flute. Ingenious. i just erased a message asking about a flute then realized it was her..lol. Good groove overall.

Thanks for the review i appreciate it!! yhea i started by just choppin the sample down into smaller sections, then pitch shifted it so those parts would fit the tempo, then aranged a couple lil loops!!! yhea i think it was all the reverb on the original sample that gave it that great woodwind effect!!!

The drum beat is great in here , i agree with damann, a bit more consistency in the beat would really do this tune some justice.

This isnt my first song to listen to of yours. I really like your sample choice. its very original. and the overtones match everything... many different perspectives.... i try for that in my music as well.... great drop offs. nice package.

Totally cool! It really makes me feel good about this song, that you make such kind remarkes. I'm not familiar with Soul Oddity. But I did get to listen to some of their stuff through YouTube.
