on Looking For You by Spivkurl
Hey matey

Liking this piece, minimalistic techno piece, something you can sit back to listen too why tapping your feet, liking the vocals mate, strange sounding vocal but working so well within the mix, as always a pleasure to listen to your works with your own style flowing through out the piece, so looking forward to downloading your complete album to play in full on the stereo...Fav'd...Peace n Respect my friend...Mosaic...

Thank you my friend for your positive feedback! This song marks a bit of a turning point in the album I think, and it still makes me a little emotional. It's a very simple song, but it achieved what I was going for. Hope that you enjoy the album!

Hey matey

Looks like I am the first to review this one for you, must say not really music genre, I would listen too away from the loop, but really enjoying this, something catchy about track that draws you in, sort of feels like it needs vocals but in saying that it does stand very nicely on its own...Fav'd...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Hey BT

mate last track reviewing for the day, very interesting track, that takes you on a journey, don't know what it is about this track, has a haunting but infectious something about it, that draws you into listening and not letting you go until it ends, sign of a very good piece of work, personally I think you have done this track right without a beat, reckon a beat would detract from what you have done here...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Another Studio One creation. I'm still working on this one so it is bound to be changing. Went to record last night and my Ibanez was dead. New battery and everything, so I'm kinda screwed till I get the cash to put it in the shop.

Evan is sad :(

on TheRiot504 Feat Farisha - Walk Away by TheRiot504
Hey TR504

Mate interesting track, for first attempt not to bad, vocals don't seem to fit right in the first part of the track, but when beat changes @ 2.30 minute mark, vocals work very well, could not quite pick out why when listening, but something just not right in the early part of the track, keep going at this genre, look forward to see what you do next with this genre wise, not a genre I do often or well, but have improved with each attempt at the genre, well think I am improving also by comments received...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Thanks for the feedback dude, I do agree it doesnt mix all to well, and that is because I didnt mix it, I just completely forgot on this track. Alot of my earlier tracks(even though this one was made less than a year ago) were just more like experiments, seeing what worked for me and what didn't, this fell into not great with vocals and mixing DnB. But I have gave this genre another shot(Storm of Life) and I think I have improved :) Peace and Love...TheRiot504 :p

Have to totally agree with Renz, stunning piece of work, loving the layback feel and vibe coming from the piece, can see where you thinking vocals may help lift to another level, personally it does stand alone well just as an instrumental...impressive Charlene...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Hey Andrea

Very nice piece of work you have here, good clarity and arranging, could see a nice vocal over this taking it to another level, has a very nice chillout vibe, listening to some of the sounds used, sound familiar maybe I have them in my library of loops here, but that aside, really liking this one...FAV...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Hi Mosaic,
first of all thank you for your compliments.
I listened to your tracks and I understand that you're a professional musician. I like all your tracks and it's hard to say which one is the best.
If I understand you wrote that you would like to insert a vocal track on my track ... I'd be honored. I'd be curious to hear how would a voice on this track but I have no library and honestly I have no idea what could marry well with this sound.
Let me know if you ever decide to work on my track ... I'd be very very happy.
Thanks again and excuse my bad English.

Man this is one impressive piece of work, from the samples used and to the arrangement, very good clarity of the mix, has a little pet shop boys sound about it to me, maybe it is the vocals giving me that feeling about track, totally enjoyed the listen of this piece...Mate will be back to check out more of your tunes, if this something to go by of your works...FAV...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Mate what a track, love the bass lines in this piece, with the beat they have a infectious draw to them, working with the synths and vocals, makes this one brilliant listen, so good to see you keep branching out with what you are doing with your vocals friend, I think this is the best vocal heard from you mate, maybe stands out more with the way you have used your vocals in this track, brilliant work matey...Fav'd...Peace Mosaic...

Thank you so much my friend! Took a lot of effort to fix the problems with this one, so it makes me happy that people are enjoying the final product. The performed parts, mainly vocal and guitar, seemed to really click and flow with this one. Can't say that I remember much about the recording session, except that it felt easier than usual. It's hard to tell where I'll be going next, but I know I have to do one more vocal song before I release my album. I really appreciate your support and listens!

Very nice deep house, excellent beat, really liking the vocals in this piece, adds something for sure, very nice arrangement mate, this is the type of tunes played in my fav café here in Perth, going what I have heard with this one I think it is prob better then some played there, liking the changes and the synths/pads that come with the changes, keeps it very interesting, Fav'd... surprised this hasn't receive more reviews mate....Peace n Respect...Mosaic...I have put up a progressive house type of track it is the first of the long tracks had featured in forums about size, this is Trilogy One part one 12.04 minutes long uploading part 2 tomorrow...

Thanks mate. It's mainly just a bunch of pro loops that i just built around. The trouble is that they sound better than what i make most of the time so it's just far too tempting to use them. I haven't written a full track all year because i've bought so many loops and i feel it's kind of taken something away from my creativity. Ah well, as long as some people like it i guess i shouldn't cre too much. cheers for dropping in and leaving your thoughts.

on Nightmare ft APZee by DeadStringer
Hey DS

Very interesting track, ambient piece, like what you have done with the vocal in this one, sort of gives you different feel after the smooth ambient feel from the first part of the track, when vocals coming in sort of gives you a nightmare feel if that makes sense, mean you sort don't expect the vocals to come, which takes you a little by surprise, but it works so well the way you have done the track, very good listen for a short track...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Hi sweet

Liking this one of yours, but needs a lot of tidying up,very nice vocal, never heard of the artist on the loop but might have to check her vocals out now after hearing her singing here, Like others have said seems to have a few flaws that seem blurred into the mix, personally I would add heavier beat to give deeper house feel to the track, This could be a very special track if flaws of the mix could be sorted, has so much potential to the track, really hope you re look at it, if you do please let me know would seriously love to hear it again when fixed up....Peace n Respect...Mosaic...PS I know you could sort this out going what I have heard of your other works here, been impressed with what I have heard previously....

Hey Mosaic,

Many thanks for listening and dropping a comment! Although the track is almost 2 years old now, it's still great to see that it is listened to :-).

The track was done in an inspiring period in my life, hence the intro. Nowadays, I only seem to be able to make intro's out of the basics of the track if you know what I mean. The vocal of Caroll actually are the main part of this track I think, they make it worth listening to.

Thanks again for the compliments!

Best, Doc

Hey man

Ok first off have to say haven't heard to much of this genre so can not give to much critic into the genre, would like to say excellent clarity on your mix which stood out right from hitting the play tab...Listening to the mix in the early stages seems little slow beat wise but as I said not heard much of this genre, ok now it sounds so much better now it kicks into the track about the 2 min mark, actually this sounds very good, so guessing the beat at start was meant to be like that, like the tinkle piano working with beat and the vocal, notice you said in description not to listen if you don't want to end up in a bad mood, lol I actually found this a fun listen and NO bad mood, fairly impressive work mate...will be back to check out more of your tunes in the near future...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Hello Mosaic, thank you for listening! It is much different from what I've been doing lately, I think it's more along the lines of what I used to try to do, but didn't have the experience yet. Glad you enjoy the vibes, that's sort of what acid is about to me. Vocals were a fun thing to discover, and definitely were the main influence in this song. I'm interested to hear how this interacts with a surround system, as I really have no way to test that. Thanks for faving and DL'ing, I'm honored! Take care!

Holy crap, I got an email saying someone reviewed a track of mine on this site and was so shocked I had to respond before going to bed! It's been years since I've been on here, talk about a blast from the past.

Thanks for the kind words and respect, brother! Love to Neo (Gramo now?) for plugging my track after all this time. It's really awesome to know that something I created has stayed with someone and moved them in some way. I feel like I should have some achievement unlocked on my musical journey (Emotionally impacted someone through music- 200G)

Seriously though, it's more touching than I have words for. Thank you so much for reviewing and letting me know it's moved you too!

If you (or anyone else reading this) is interested to know what I've been up to musically the past couple years, I've moved my stuff from here to soundcloud in order to get around the mb limit per upload. My new stuff is really long...

https://soundcloud.com/matthew-schnurer

Also, I'm using my real name now, not an alias, so there's that...
