I really like the open high hat you used, its prefect; trance for sure. I liked the arps you used on this really nice drive and the melodies really mesh nicely together. and as Spiv mentioned, really uplifting.
This track does feel quite classical, can't go wrong with the off-beat bassline, really nice drive and cool synthwork, I like how the drums progress, really nice additions, also, very clear track, everything is quite spacious, wish I could make my tracks like this. good.
we enjoyed the "acid" style line. Beat was pretty basic but complimented the acid line nicely. We did want "more" with the track, a deep bassline perhaps, a melody also, strings to uplift it a bit, and a main synth line to complete it.
we enjoyed the ideas behind the track, hardcore in some ways, trancy in others, acid techno as well, we'd say this is certainly a mixture of multi-genre's.
A bit short, which is a negative. There needs to be more done to the track: longer, variation, melody, changes to drums.
the intro melody/arp sounded really nostalgic; we didn't realize that anyone was still using the original "sonic foundry" sample CDs, (back when ACID was not owned by Sony but by Sonic Foundry), definitely great usage of the loop, warm welcome.
We enjoyed this track. Has a nice set of changeups and cool variations in the vocal section as well as the bass area and melodies. We believe we have heard these vocals before as well, just cannot recall. Doesn't matter. Great usage.
We also enjoyed the delay usage and the "gating", really well used to create a much fuller track.
We were expecting "more" after 3 mins or so, but long and repetitious sounds are expected withing this genre, we were quite satisfied that you had enough changes/sounds so it didn't feel so repetitious.
once the beat came in, it made allot more sense (vocals that is), and the bass compliments the track well. We did feel there could have been "more" done, especially with a melody since there isn't one. However, we do feel that the track worked really well even without a melody.
Oh yah for sure, didnt get around to sticking a melody in. I will probably edit it and repost it. And for the bass, it is nice, but a bit loud i agree.
as "funny" as the vocals were, we did not "understand" it's meaning with the track. The track itself, we felt, was pretty ok with combinations of break-beats and trance or techno. A bit over-repetitive to be honest. No melody? No changeups? No break? Our suggestion is mainly with the track content, needs more changes, a melody perhaps.
ss, hey i do like all replys. this track was thrown together as a joke. it is a bunch of loops that i produced that are actually in other songs that i have out. check out some of my other stuff or even look here: myspace.com/djpanekk thanks for your time, p
we liked the intro-sections allot, very cool. We also liked the kick's pattern, however, we were expecting more changeups with the drums, after 2mins it got very dull to the ears. Some changes to the drums benefit the track.
