Greetings BullittVolante. The synth work here is amazing. Im loving the sweeps and arps. Im learning how to work my way around synth sounds,LFOs, squares etc. Nice 1!
Peace,
Mark
Hiya, Mark, My Dear Friend in Music! I'm glad you are enjoying the track so much, and Happy Christmas to you, as well. I just gave a listen to your recent jazz offering, and was not surprisingly blown away. It's happiness to know you are keeping the jazz flame burning bright on this platform.
Steve! How are you? It's been a minute. This track is full of creativity. The groove is infectious. The section starting at 2:16 really grabs you. I love the drive here. Nice work.
Peace,
Mark
This is sheer talent! So you start with a reggae beat idea then put the switch on it. Ah yeah the creativity zone! Once you jump in its no telling where youre gonna end up. Thanks for sharing the track and telling the story of how you got here.
Peace,
Mark
Hey Anthony! Immediately impressive. Im totally loving that subtle tension with strategic releases. The mix is pristine with a driven bottom. The formula you applied here makes this listen a GREAT ONE. Nice job.
Hello Mark
well it is immediately impressive because it is built around these pro quality loops that this software (Elastik) comes with. It is meant to be (as I see it) the sparkle to initiate a new song. I totally liked these loops too, so I decided to work "with" them in a song. I am really happy you liked it, your opinion is always highly appreciated. It is a long time I have not used this software so I think, I should give it a try again.
Best wishes, Anthony
Happy Holidays Paul! So yep as I'm getting hit with a bit of snow, your track with the acoustic guitar and the jingle bells has upped my holiday vibe. But the switchup with the reverse cymbals and effects like your signature stereo field. Nice nice touch. Did you have reindeer in the studio? Consider this listen enjoyed my friend.
Peace,
Mark
Merry Christmas Mark, thanks for the endearing comment, i think Rudolph was guiding my path, its Christmas a time for sharing but also thinking of others too,
having pre-sets that I've built is great for workflow and your own signature as i only need to tweak things on future tracks, i occasionally add a different plugin depending on what my end result is, I've learnt so much from my own perseverance and this incredible community, thanks again for your time and support bro
JS! Yep IMPROVEMENT! Lets try this, match the "Oh oh "from the 1:42 and 1:46 time stamps and match that for the entrance "Oh oh" 's. Do this , then this banger is a wrap. Your free flowing style is full on point tho.
Let's Gooooooo,
Mark
Welcome back JS! I hear where you are going! The backing track is fire. What I would like to hear, Is for you to do another take on your vocals to address the pitch variations. In particular the "Oh oh Oh oh" sections only. The rest of your vocals I could feel, and you hit just right. I look forward to the next take my friend.
Peace,
Mark
Ok! That entrance set the pace just right! Plenty of room for whatever you want to lay on top. I noticed the double kicks in sync with the baritone instrument. That's a fire touch? Keep em coming.
Peace,
Mark
BB Yep, your market experience reminds me of wealth of inspiration we catch when we're not expecting it. I call that the wave.
The song and instrumentation is tight and vibrant. Your vocals as always are raw and as real as real can get. You captured an eras DNA. Right before the exit I really could hear A BB guitar solo. Yep right at the 3:03 mark. So go ahead and ROCK OUT:) Really nice job. Keep this trajectory going.
Peace,
Mark
Kayos on the dance floor! Im from the depths of 70s disco era. Theres a smidgin of the genre in my musical dna. This is really good. The Kayos versatility is highly respected.
