I like the piano, very nice. The scream is cool. I'm no expert but I do agree that the kick drum is a bit thin. All in all a nice piece. Lovely piano at the end. I will download this track. Thanks for sharing...

I love the intro, especially the bells. The bass beat is awesome. You must have some quality materials to work with. Your timing is great and your choice of samples is cool. I'm going to download this track and add it to my collection. Thanks for sharing...

Brilliant start, nice vocal mixing, lovely use of the synthesised arpeggio. Great introduction of the bass beat. I love this track. You obviously have a very nice sound making system and know what you are doing. :-) I think this will be my first track downloaded from Looperman that I will add to my personal collection. Thank you very much for sharing...

It is truly an honor to be the first LM track in your library. It was a lot of un making this track and it is always nice to see positive reactions afterwards. Many thanks!

If you don't mind me saying so, I found the intro overly long and the piece really needs some action in it. I liked the little arpeggiated high sounds at the very end. I would have layered them throughout the track. Have you seen Deadmau5's advert video about amateur music making? He makes one simple point. I like the bass line but again it is a little repetitive. All in all it's a nice piece but I think it really does need more...

Very interesting track, I wonder if they would consider playing this on the good old ferries. I wonder if they are still running. I've not been down that way for quite some time...

I can't give you any professional critique because I'm definitely not a professional but of the three tracks I've listened to of yours so far I have to say I'm impressed. I like your style. I wish I had more time to listen to everything you've done but it's now 03:54 and I've been working now for nearly twenty hours straight. I want to get good at making music and I figure the only was is by experimenting. That and listening carefully to what others are doing... :-)

Nice Bass.
Simple music yes but at least it's not discordant or anything...

Like the percussion, interesting instruments.
Could I make a suggestion?
It is, as you say, quite simple.
Maybe spice it up a little?
Unless you're just wishing for an uncomplicated ambient soundtrack, in which case I'll just shut my pie hole.
Nice track anyway...

Yes, definitely. I am listening again and there is some stutter in this track. I don't know what the problem is. Could be your DAW. Definitely lovely choice of Piano and nice dark chords...

Nice piece, is it me or is there some distortion? Is that deliberate?
I notice this track was posted a while ago.

Very nice track. You made it in FL Studio? Do you mind if I ask did you use a VST or the included instruments? You must have used a VST. I love the bass and the lead sounds. I would love to know what you used. I have FL Studio and I'm very new to this.

on Call Of The Wild by Billydragon1
My first music attempt was with Magix Music Maker. I now have Fruity Loops Studio 12. I just thought I would comment because I soon got a bit fed up with Magix because I found the programme slightly limiting. Since getting FL12 I now realise I have a LOT of studying and homework to do. Nice track...

Billydragon1 replied 24th Dec 2016 - 8 years ago
Hi there Davies. Appreciate the comments. Yes you're right, every Daw has there limitations. But in the end we find what works best for us. I find Magix quite fast to use, capturing the ideas that comes to my head. I don't like to spend days on a track, rather a few hours is enough as this is only another small avenue for self expression. Funny enough, i havent really composed any new music for months now since updating to Windows 10. But i hope you're making progress with Fruitty Loops.

Interesting comment, I should say we all realise how much we have yet to learn. It never ends the learning. There are no beginners only doers.
