Very pleased you enjoyed it, yes much going on but I think still allowing everything its place in the track, considering the content...Cant say it was fun to start with, stayed in the giving the shits folder for about 3 yrs or so, until a few days before unloading, last week was more fun then the rest of the time lol...Peace n Respect...mosaic...
This is something different.
I would buy this, although its more for the journey, which is one of the best rewards, creating music together.
Well done!
This sounds nice, good work!
The lead is a little to loud for me though, like it swallows the entire track on some points. Or maybe its the drum that has low vollume, i dont know :)
Anyways, keep it going!
This is indeed a pretty wild and crazy trip. I love layering more and more sounds together to create something really fat and complex, with loads of twists and turns.
I guess the forward drive comes from all the banging drums. A solid groove is the essence of all my music making and instrument playing.
Great tone setting atmosphere, little sci-fi drama, really cool. I expected a drop at 2:47 but then, there's nothing predictable with this piece, which is a good thing. it keeps it going and interesting. Nice job!
thank you. I love the sci-fi sound. my music is mainly cinematic. (which can encompass a lot of styles really.
but love dubstep. may make more like this.
@syncdiversity don't be jealous, you have a really nice track here. To me, the words ibiza and emotional are equal to 2001 salou hotel,(look that up) Thanks for checking out soundloud i remember that thread :)
The first few minutes remind me of "Child of Light" which is a video game, link for inspiration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OibB43zffI
If you are really considering doing something in video games, i would definitely recommend you!
Thanks Sonny. If I can quit my state job with a gig writing for Sony I'm on board (me an 5000 more talented composers I am afraid!). But anyway - yea - check out that link. can seem some similarities. Thanks for checking this out. Dan
Mogwai meets Mark Lanegan meets phatkatz4. Bring out the whisky and cigars my friend, this is where i got lost in the south and never came back. Thanks for sharing!
*Brings out the wjiskey and cigars* :p Bit too hot in the south for me, northerner myself, but I absolutely love the soulful sounds of the south!! Thanks Sonny :D
Hey man im feeling this, those lyrics are real.
i wish i could sing or rap but just because for the inspiration i got from it i uploaded something real quick: https://soundcloud.com/sonnychapelle/i-dont-test
Your vocal and studio qualities are way better and you are probably looking for a rapper. In any case, you can message me about the soundcloud upload and what not, i'l remove it it if you want or change the name.
Overall good production , also the 2nd voice sounds good dont type that out unless you need to.
Hey thanks for trying it out, I don't think it fit very well with the overall feel of the track though. You don't have to worry about taking it down if you like it :D Again thanks for giving it a shot, noone else has done a damn thing lol.
