very cool track first i like the varying tempo and interesting mixing from the rapid frenzy to sudden calm kept me interested the whole way through best regards Robbie.
what a nice sweet intro leading into the beat if thats a base its a very good one i love the step up at 1.15 nice thumper. Halfway through i thought my blood pressure was coming down :) nicely chilled. Kept me hooked to the end nice one regards Robbie.
superb performance reminds me of my childhood at church but they never played like that i imagine the acoustics of the actual location make a huge difference to the sound we hear over the internet, I am fascinated by the actual instrument itself which you refer to in the you tube as frobenius a maker from denmark are they difficult to maintain, do they still make them ? robbie
Bleep i am loving this track nice n quirky intro and the whistling and the vocs are amazing its just an unusual and very nice track. Its one of your very best and my favorite from you. I loved every second of it man total respect so cool.. faved best regards Robbie.
Your compliments affect me a lot, I thank you for it!!
i can send you this track if you want? if it's the case, give me your mail, I shall be delighted to send it to you :)
Amazing track i can imagine how much work you have put into this and to be able to bring all this together and find that it works is amazing i love the brass melody line you have weaved into it very classy stuff.. super job best regards Robbie.
Thank you!
Can't remember how much hours worked on it, not so much i think. Slapjohnson's sax solos are most excellent and very easy to use and they are long too - just ad it over (almost) anything and it will work. Because that, i just ashamed to use them a bit. :)
I planned to refine it, but then forgot at all. It's a luck i find the file recently, but i don't have the mood to work on it, so after some fine balancing, uploaded as it was. :)
Regards, traz
I think this funky track is the way to go with your vocals. What I really like about your vocals on slack was that you didn't just copy the melody of one of the instruments like I did. You completely wove a new thread which sounds so much better. I listened to your vocals and I was mystified on how you were able to do this. You also surprised me in how you were able to get all funky with your vocals. I wasn't sure you had it in you, but I was very pleasanly surprised. In fact I think your funky vocals are much more compelling than your original vocals. My funky vocals sounded so contrived and cheesy, but yours sound so genuine and smooth. The only things I saw to tweak were a couple of spots where your vocals got quieter (not at the end because it makes sense to get quieter there) But I'm wondering if running them through "guitar rig" (like I did with mine) will boost them up a bit. Also I'd like to explore you singing everything twice and see if we layer them together if they pack even more punch. I've seen lots of vocalists do this and it sounds great. It may or may not work here, but it's worth a shot.
Hey Bleep always good to hear another Bleep track this has a nice gritty intro and ramps up nicely with the accelerated tempo i liked that linkage a lot most people dont play like that so respect to you im always learning from you and the guys here at LM. This is a great concept unique in its own right nice job my friend you have made this stamped with the Bleep trademark. Best regards Robbie.
Hey Rob,
i saw you published your last track on your soundcloud (Scarborough Fair). I will listen to it soon ;)
Glad to read your positive feeling about the accelerated tempo! i made a variation between 90bpm and 120bpm with peaks (ends of patterns) at 129bpm ^^ that's why it was difficult for me to find a specific genre for this track!
(and finally it's a detail ;))
Your words honored me, Thank you for these encouragements which, I know that, are honest.
Hey Bleep almost an oriental stringed sound and I think a very subtle build here. The singer has a jazzy bluesy quality to her voice which blends into the track so nicely. you have done a high quality track here my friend best regards Robbie.
Hello Rob!
Thanks for your feedback! it's true, there's something jazzy in the singer voice ;) i hesitate to composed some saxo riffs and finally, as i wanted a render near disco, i deleted the idea lol may be i was wrong? :)
thanks for your words which are always appreciate, you know it! :)
