Nice bass sound on this one, and the orgasm fits right into the energy of the track. I agree the mix could use some work, but it sounds good the way it is. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!
It's great to hear something so different coming from someone on looperman. I love the instrumentation and the playing on this one. Definitely sounds very Turkish to me. Nice one! Thank you for sharing!
Really unusual instrumentation on this, I'd say it almost sounds cinematic. Very epic either way. I love the squeekiness of the music, if that makes sense. Great vocals too, wondering where you found them. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!
Hey, Thnx $ the review. Glad you liked it. To answer your question on the vocals, I found them on a cd called Dance Ultra Vocals. I`m not sure which website I found them on, but I`m sure som googling it up would turn up something for ya. Thnx again...
Sweet groove on this one! I like the mastering personally, though it doesn't sound as hot as much of what's on Looperman. Nice one though, I'll have to fave it.
Cool groove! It almost feels like the intro is too long or something. I like the break you give the listener around 1:40 though. Doesn't seem to be missing anything. Nice one!
I can hear why you dubbed this world house, interesting combination. I love how everything changes around 1:15, it gets really intense. All of your stuff seems to put me in mind of some crazy jazz musicians going at it or something. Nice one! Thanks for sharing!
It's odd that ya mention Jazz musicians, because for a few months now I've been trying to emulate their way of searching for new approaches to making music. It seems to fit perfectly with my 'experimental stance' with what I make.
If fact, I recently watched this program on PBS about Winton Marsalis about how is band works together. On it there were different members of the band discussing how they purposely wrote music to challenge the other members of the band (all in good fun though, nothing of spite). It was so great that I left feeling inspired, like their love for music and eachother made me want to be like them.
Though musically, Jazz hasn't always been my cup of Tea and even today, there's only some forms of it that I fancy (classic swing, for example, just love it).
As for the blend on this track. I guess I've got some Eastern preferences, because here I was basically trying to marry Caribbean and Indo-asian styles/sounds. Which was kinda easy since the two forms of music are really similar to one another (atleast percussive and tempo-wise). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
This reminds me of some crazy jazz someone might make if they had a bunch of unusual instruments at their disposal. I dig it - but wait that means i'm on some intense stuff. oh no! Thanks for sharing this ultra creative track!
Thanks mate, I dunno what it is. This year is beginning to mark my ventures into the extremely experimental. Kinda like, I've stopped caring for the things I know and wanna be out there, on a thin limb with everything that I do. Sometimes it pays off (Whooplash & here), sometimes it doesn't (NESness & @30k Feet). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Love the screaming synth that comes in around :45. I understand how it goes losing interest part way through making a track, but it sounds to me like you pulled this one through. Puts me in mind of old video game music a bit, but it's just a bit more ravey. Nice melody for sure! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for another review Spivkurl, It's awesome to hear you liked it. I'm glad it was worth the time to make. I appreciate your comments, they inspire. Thanks again.
I really like the use of hoover sounding synth at the beginning, and the kick is banging. This is keeping my attention so far. Nice transition aroun 2:15 when it sounds all airy, love it! Overall an excellent representation of the genre, and I'm going to have to fave it. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks a lot Spivkurl, It really means a ton. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and to see you faved it is great. I really appreciate your comments. Thanks again
I agree this track could use some more sub, but then I'm listening on crappy little speakers. Love the track overall - especially the glitchiness of it. Nice work!
and im very flattered, check out the rest of my songs and perhaps u might have a private disco at home :) unfortunately the amount of bites is limited to 8000b, so i can upload here all my best songs since they are too heavy. so u can listen them on www.bandzone.cz/michaelszatmary or www.lastfm.com/music/michaelszatmary. enjoy :)
I love the groove on this one, almost puts me in mind of glitch. I think I'm gonna have to fave this one, as it's ultra creative. Nice level on all the instruments. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Spivkurl - appreciate it man ... this track by far was the most difficult, but well worth the energy after seeing and hearing the end results ... thanks for fav'ing it also. J DOT ~ 2006
I really hear what you mean by cinematic, that's how this track stands out to me. I think it would take an excellent movie to compliment a soundtrack like this. Nice one!
Sounds hard core so far, for sure. I was almost thinking the vocals were overused then you pulled them out with the change around 1:15, so good timing. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!
I can see why you placed this under trance, it really does have that effect doesn't it! Really nice choice of sounds on this one, they all seem to compliment each other. Cool guitar like sounds. Thanks for sharing!
This song truly kicks! It sounds very last millenium to me, which I don't mind one bit. Great voice sampling, it seems like one of those songs each person can hear something different with. Nice one!
This track definitely has a nice roll to it, definitely a dance vibe. I think the only thing I'd do different is use a slightly different piano sound, cuz it sounds kinda old school midi. That's just personal preference though. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!
This is an exciting track! I like that I can't quite tell what you used to make the music. Very industrial indeed, reminds me of something from the NIN ep Fixed. I love the driven feel to it! Nice one.
Great glitchiness to the beat on this one, and I agree with others that the song really works with the 'pella. They seem meant for eachother. All around great work on this track. Thanks for sharing!
This song has a good feel to it. I like that you did everything except the beat yourself, it shows that you are multi talented. When the song started, I was thinking "whoa... industrial", but it is rock for sure. Thanks for sharin!
thank you so much..I only use beats most of the time cause i love puttin my soul in the music..I do play several instruments..ive only done 3 tracks with only loops...Im not a pro at loopin..but i enjoyed doin the track called universe that i did..for me that was really different..thks peace Dvibe
