Great groove on this track! This almost suggests breakbeat to me... but don't listen to me! lol I really like the pumpin kick and bass line! Nice use of loops on this one, it sounds very original!

on Im Dub For Life by Eldon1991
I really like the drum beats on this track a lot. It's good to hear some organ on this track, but anyone who knows me knows I love organs. Very cool bass progression! Nice arrangement to this track, it all flows nicely! Great work!

Wow Thanks! I was expecting a few negatives lol, and ye not that many people seem to like organs for some reason. I feel i need to change it a bit though, like add a few violins around that organ or something and then change the second drop so its not the same and so repetitive. Thanks for reviewing!

I really like the variety of sounds you've used on this track. I can definitely hear some Califken influence on this track, and props for giving credit where it's due! You've created a really nice groove with this track. I would almost call this house as opposed to industrial, but to each his own. All in all a great track!

This is one cool heavy house track! I really like all the vocal samples, and the bass line is killer. That kind of party you speak of is all too familiar, that's some funny stuff. I'm gonna fave and DL this track! Thanks for sharing!

Hearing d2d's guitar loops used in this context is really cool. You've built up a really sweet beat here! You should really extend this some, it's got a lot of potential!

This is a very enjoyable and calming song. Interesting that you did all this with a guitar synth. When you say guitar synth do you mean MIDI guitar?
jfw
jfw replied Unknown
Thanks for the listen. It is indeed a midi guitar - just a question of which terminology you use - cheers.

This beat would be great in a movie, it contains all the suspense you need for a nearly clean get away. I like the tremolo pads that keep things pulsing. Very cool orchestration! Nice work!

This is a great start to a really cool track. As soon as the song got going I had a wonderful feeling wash over me. Reminds me of a friend who died earlier this year. I would like to hear more!

on When Hippos sing with Frogs by n0mad23
This is such an exciting track! The orchestration makes this song beyond reason, almost like mind control. Amazing tribal trance material here! Nice work! Faved!

"A cross section of some hot springs" and certainly a successful attempt at sonically identifying a personal archetype. It's a point of abstract personal fear now banished. Thanks for the fav!

This is, as you say, very healing! A fine, exciting ride to the other side. The organ sounds great, but I always love to hear organs! Really cool work!

Very unusual dub, and I agree that it's very hypnotic. I like the tribal sounding percussion, and the whole mix is very subtle. Nice work!

That organ really fits in! It gives a bit of an old school reggae feel to the track. Creative use of this now classic (IMHO) pella. Nice one!

This is a very inspiring mix! Dub definitely works as the genre, in my opinion. I like how minimal the groove is on this track. Very entertaining!

I really enjoy the theme of this track... it gives the sound of spontaniety in some way. The only criticism I have, is that it is a little repetetive for being such a long song. That's probably just me though, I've been into short songs lately. I like how you've filled out the frequency spectrum with those cool synths. I'm really liking the sub bass that comes in towards the end of the track. Cool track, friend!

Definitely a great club track, but it also seems very introspective to me. Something you've created within your track really made my mind feel open! This is an excellent track, definitely a fave!

This is an exceptionally unique piece! It really brings me back, for some reason, but I don't know back to where!? Parts of it feel kind of cinematic, and it reminds me a bit of genesis, which is cool! Nicely done!

This is a very ecstatic track, I really enjoy the vibe you build up! All the synthesizers compliment eachother well, and they give this track a bit of an old school feel. Nice work! BTW is the vocal sample cleared?

on Inside Electro by DigitalEcho
Very cool song! This reminds me of something Brian Eno might have done on his album "Nerve Net", but maybe it's just me. I really like the vocal sounding synth that comes in around the 2:00 mark. You are right, the drums really do give this song an edge. You must have layered drums sounds to make it sound that fat. It sounds like you've got some circuit bent vocal samples going on in the middle of the track, that's cool to hear. Did you circuit bend a speak and math to get those samples? Very enjoyable track, all the way through! Nice work!
DigitalEcho
DigitalEcho replied Unknown
The track does have layered drums and the speak and math samples came from a third party refill. I just 'treated them'. I'm going self employed next year and have had a lot of interest with 'Inside Electro' so maybe an album will come out it!

Pumpin beat on this track! I could hear this in a DJ set for sure, I'd head to the dance floor. Just a side note, it sounds like things may have distorted a bit when you encoded to MP3. I could be wrong, but that's what it sounds like. Really cool track though!
Finn69
Finn69 replied Unknown
Thanks man! I'll need to check the encoding out, though the bass is fairly distorted anyway. Here's hoping you will be able to dance to my beats some day! Take it easy bro.

This is an excellent track. The beats and bass really make me want to move, or get going doing something. You had me dancing in front of my guinea pig. Love the synthesis on this track. Nice work, I'm gonna fave and DL this one!

Kii:- Hey man, cheers for the review, guinea pigs are the best type of pigs to dance in front of, I hear :). And he's not bad is he? I taught him everything he knows XD.

Dean:- Thanks a lot :) I was actually thinking I'd get a bad review or something since it's my first song on FL. Dancing in front of your guinea pig? that's awesome :D lol

This is a very unique take on Dubstep! It's a little more complex than most tracks i've heard in this genre. I really like the vintage organ type sound you've used. Nice variety of percussive sounds too. Great work!
