Yeah, I've been doin stuff like this for years (even before I got into mixing/arranging). Mostly it was because I was bored and it was during the time before MP3 players (Walkmans & portable CD players were a bit too bulky to take to football games & such). Just did this to prove that a track could be made quickly from scratch (and coz I was havin the bug to do some beatbox-like stuff). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Hey,
I am not too BIG into hip-hop, but this track is some tight loop usage - the classic hip hop way.
I listened to all your songs - good quality.
Anyways, thanks for leaving feedback on my track, hope to hear more of your music in the future.
Cheers
Thanx...If you mean the sample in the start then it's the one I made myself with a sound(I don't remember what it was but it doesn't matter)...I uploaded it into the sampler added arpagiator and couple of effects then played it in different octaves. If you want I will upload it to the loops it's an 8 bar sample.
Cool, this really reminds me of sphogle (except IMO sphongle is annoying compared to this)
I love the ambiance of this song, especially the orca sound.
The bass in this is amazing. (it reminds me of the bass from the wagon christ song 'spotlight') The piano arpeggios are nice too. The whole track really came together.
Man I really dig this,
Thanks for the download.
I've been listening to Binary Star and Aesop Rock a lot recently and this fits right in, real authentic sounding hip hop.
Hey STE,
Nice work here, I am not usually a fan of trance (nothing against it tho) but this has a nice watery vibe to it that I just love.
I especially love the tape stop/glitch at 0:25-0:26 into the frantic detune lead. All the synth sounds in this really flow.
Cheers

(needless to say I liked it)
The detune lead you mentioned was me messing around with fl studios WASP plugin, automation on the sustain. First sound I put into this project. The tapestop was from Dblue glitch, there was supposed to be a gate on it as well, but I think it sounds bettet without it.
Thanks for the review, will take a look at your songs sometime soon (probably tommorow by the looks of it)
Arturia software is what made me love analog gear initially. They make a fine instrument, I have used the Edirol stuff as well, very nice. this is such a smooth track.
Thanks for sharing.

AH! Nice, this is like the house that me and one of my best friends used to listen to while doing drugs.
Nice work. Let us know when the full version is up!
