I'm sure you've been told...gal you sound like Erykah Badu haha, now that we've got that out of the way!
Next order of business...Welcome To The Loop!!! Always good to have other vocalists on board :-) You're gonna love it, there's such an abundance of muzical styles, it's like a muzical candy store haha.
Are you using a pop screen? I'm not an expert but that's what comes to my mind. When you hit that "live and...", "love when you love" it kind of gets distorted, maybe a "good" engineer could sort that out though cuz it really sounds passionate.
I like your unique style, I can feel the passion in your voice, for me as a vocalist that's important
As long as you keep going, it can only get better!!!!
Thank you soooo much for your amazing welcome. You are by far the vocal legend of looperman with a voice I that is at a level many singers will never reach. Thank you fo rht e feedback I will take note of that during mastering...
I have no idea how I missed this...but...I'm here now...
Lemme tell ya RockOn, you ROCK! I wanna go for a ride!!! You gave this the sho' nuf rock feel it deserves. Love the way the energy builds as the song goes on...GREAT GREAT job!!!!!!!!!!!!
RockOn you have really done a great job breathing life into this. You have treated the vocals with the respect of precious jems. I'd be proud if it were my vocals :-), I'm sure Farisha will be.
As I said, I like contrasts and everything has two sides like a coin. You are right about the intro: I wanted to give it the feel of "out of control", "no limits", a bit "punk"... but maybe I'll better place some instruments in the mix, leaving the impact and feel as is.
I'm really glad you like it and it made you want to dance.
Can I tell you how much I absolutely LOVE this! You have taken great care with this piece and I salute you sir, and to Mr. Bear for his looper contribution.
I am honored to have been a part of this! Thank you so much!
I'm sure if I listen to this a few more times I'll forget it's me haha. Aside from that, this is really good!!!! Love the dance atmosphere, still all good with me.
i had to put this up patricia....i felt like i had to match your vocals and it bothered me a little(as you can see lol)
i have mad respect for your vocal talents and i was about to let you know it was up...but got sidetracked here at home(mad house full of people)!! but i'm glad you like the better version!!!
ok you take it loop it change the tempo in some areas and make your own thang u have my blessing u my have to cut it up only becuse it fads in and out so go for it and have fun also check out other stuff on my loopstation (kicka)
Ok, so I've listened to this [literally] like 6 times.
Oh how my blood boiled each time,
oh how I transformed into someone different each time.
My skin peeled away as I became someone else I've always wanted to be.
I died and came to life again.
I cried and then I laughed.
Or maybe I was breaking in and robbing a bank.
Or was I rescuing someone?
Wait, I could've been hot wiring a vehicle,
or was I just standing at the edge of a calm body of water and reminiscing?
I think I mainly stopped becuz you mentioned guitar, that's one way to peak my interest.
I see a friendly get together on the porch one summer day. Kinda strikes me as a cool country with a hip hop twang. I can hear a harmonica playing in there too haha.
If it were longer I'd give it a go, cuz it kinda strikes me as a Neo soul-ish vibe as well.
Wow! I am still amazed at how muzic can "exhibit" emotions, this piece is FULL of them. I feel the pain and sadness, so I'd say you've accomplished that end of it. Also perhaps some liberation.
While listening I felt I was being gently tugged from here to there. Nothing threatening, just a free flow of movement, going in different directions with no destination in mind. Meditation, yes.
Not tense, but emotional. There is definitely a stirring up here. I now pronounce you "An Artist"! Great job Cyber!!!! Oh, and thanks for the DL :-)
I'll just say I was VERY reluctant to even leave a comment cuz (1st) I'm listening on the speakers at work and (2nd) I'm not a tech head, and that's the input you're looking for.
And I know you didn't have anything to do with the muzic, and I can go to Mr. Cole's page and comment on that end.
However, I listen to a lot of muzic here and we all know your work is top notch! Sounds crisp and clear my end! That's my one note.
Sorry I couldn't help more :-) however, this is a very good track to use when people opt to use my vocals. It'd be nice to hear more tracks with this quality, at least close, so I will use this as a reference. Off for now... Thanks Malu!
Thank you Patricia! I was looking actually for exactly that answer...how it plays on your end and you've answered it.
I'm looking at this from an engineers perspective that just recorded for 14 hours straight and now needs to do a rough mix. The input you guys have given me will most likely be the input of the artists as well.
And yes Mr. Cole and the guys at Telefunken did a great job. They have lots of such sessions I just needed and acoustic one that was approved for educational purposes.
I've posted the links so that people can check out both Cole's site and eventually download the multi-tracks and experiment.
This was like dying and going to heaven. Hopefully haha.
Just a dreamy and peaceful piece of art! And it really helped to turn the volume down, light some candles, drown in the tub, die and go to heaven LOLOL!
Well now, this just makes me feel happy! Great vocals! Great bass! Absolutely love that guitar! No, not too short, just enough. Think I'm gonna push [play] again. Thanks.

Anyway, nice work!
I'll probably make it longer, fix it up some, and add parts.
