Have I rendered you speechless? Maybe I should play this track to Linda again and see if it has the same effect!! Ooops! Hope she doesn't read this!!
Great to hear from you as ever and I am now breathing easily again. So glad you like what I've achieved here. I went for the "minimal blues relaxed feel" on this and it seems to have worked well. Your vocals sound fantastic and I fell in love with your three part chorus section. Amazing.
Hello Ms Edwards,
I truly appreciate your dedication in continually listening to what I up load on here. I know that it is a very short piece of music.=) But one of these days ill finish it. Actually, if you don't mind I have an idea. Would you be willing to collaborate with me?
Idunno if I ever understood what the Ambient genre is...but I tell you this is spot on how I've been feeling lately.
Like I'm just drifting, not good, not bad, sometimes just as peaceful with no worries (the birds), and sometimes a little disconnected. And that descent (ending) was so heavenly, so gentle, no side effects at all, like a smooth landing, you are the bomb captain hehe.
Such a sweet gesture for Ms. Julie! And I hope she likes it.
P.S. sorry I can't comment much on production and mix and all that, but it did speak to me :-)
Thanks for your comments. I did not want to mess up your vocals so it could be a little out and in. I know you wrote you are busy and I will upload the file with out your Vocals on it and maybe you can download it and redo then when you get time.
I have a special request. I lost my mom about 1 1/2 and wrote a mellow jazz tune song for her. I am still working on the words so it is not rush but I would like to collaborate with you when you get some free time, please.
Yeah I did!!.. If you noticed a lot of producers such as Usher and Robin Thick have been using extra long Intros to they'er songs to get you on edge so your dying to hear it ..that's what I was going for Lol ..Thanks for the listen
Now this is absolutely...why do I wanna say gorgeous WTHeck LOL.
The drive, the vibe, the energy...I can hear this on a Jazz CD!
I think the only thing that seemed to take away a bit was that hi hat hit throughout (not the closed one)? It happens too much for me. But that's just me! And the solo, right on!
Thanks for coming by and commenting on the track...this track has been on the shelf for a couple of years now and i was going through my files and ran across this..yeah i meant to go through drum track and level some parts but got distracted (my daughter hounding me for cash)!!lol so i forgot to fix it before i uploaded it...anyway i'm glad you liked the idea and you are certainly welcome for the download...by the way i have that last track finished and will upload with the DL...i also have an idea for one of your pellas that will be a suprise as i will not microwave this one.as your vocals for this particular track moved and inspired me to put some real work into this!! anyway...stayed tuned!!
Whoa! I NEVER click on any dubstep tracks...but I always see your avatar and thought, what the heck...and boy am I glad I did.
The title I can surely see. I was also thinking a dimly lit alleyway, main character chasing villan. Shes got on a long leather coat, I mean she's mean and surely! She tough, smokin on a nasty cig, got her sawed off shotgun ready to get that bad guy. She's cool, calm and collected as she patiently seeks him out...
Thank you thank you, Bonita. I'm not sure what I'm am not doing but something is happening between the what I'm hearing on the lappy and what I'm hearing on the upload. I've done ti three times now, with the same or worse results. Vocals are clear and upfront on lappy...not so much on the upload. Sad face...but thanks for listening!!!
The movement of the synth work here (I hope thats right lol) is absolutely what makes this track great! It's moving, yet simple enough to make it great!
Some chopped up, yet moving vocals will take this right over the top.
Beautiful is all that's left to say...oh, and thanks for the download :-)
I REALLY love your bass Dave. This one just dances about so smoothly. Those Zappo licks feel real good haha. And that sax, oh goodness...ya know this all just makes me feel like grabbing a partner and dancing!
It kinda feels like jazz club meets dance club somewhere in the middle and they all just hang out together!
Hey there Pat...one of the main reasons I took up an instrument was getting out of dancing,on reflection I think I made a huge tactical error now! lol...bring back Chubby Checker music then anybody can dance or fake it! haha..thank you! cheers Dave ;)
Thank you for these kind words Patricia.
I'm really glad you like it, you make me feel like another italian, Giorgio Moroder.
We'll all miss Donna Summer.
This is my interpretation of punk, hope the lyrics made you chuckle, they were supposed to be a little fun. I try to do some different things musically but also try to keep within my sound and ability. This, like a lot of my music is so simply constructed and that formula goes a long way as I'm not the most talented musician here. This one was such fun to put together. Glad you liked it and glad you left a review on my punk track, shows your open mindedness towards music, thanks!

Vocally there's a bit going on. But as Richie said maybe the "duo" like concept is what you were going for.
I really love the blues tune, and may I suggest uploading it as an instrumental :-)
Good job.

Second time I thought it something of a muzic box, then read the description lol, and it's lovely! Short, to the point, and catchy.
Thanks for the download, I believe this will make a perfect ringtone or alarm melody :-)

I really like the vibe of this, almost like a slow rock feel.
The placement of the vocals makes this perfect, they come in and give the track room to breath so you can continue to enjoy them.
I give it a 10-, cuz there's no download.
Great track :-)
