Yo dude this is way different, which is cool in my book. Vox start to sound pretty distorted late in the track, but that may be intentional. Nice one dog!
Yo man this is the real deal. A great mesh of sound to make my head feel nice. I'm a sucker of the old school flavor and this one's got a lot of it. You have some of the best hip hop beats on the site, hands down.
LI nice track man. Great great job on the hook, love that. Verse sound a bit loud, but easy to fix. Really like the beat and the fact that you got something real to spit about. You've gotten a lot better lyrically too man, keep pushing.
I remember this one. One of my favs of yours. Nice to hear the new verse, but why cut out the old one? Why not just make it a 3 verse track? "close me casket, hear raps coming out cus i rap bit*ch." haha. Well maybe you have other plans for that verse.
laziness. the last one needed an extra line added and i didnt take the time to rewrite it to make it work so i just replaced the whole verse. didnt feel like chopping up the beat to add another. fat girls/skinny girls coming soon! we better get on it, world ends in 2012
I disagree with Taurus, cus I like the old school keyboard digs. That break from :45-1:10 sec is hot if you ask me son. The baseline/drum beat had me ready to turn on the mic. You got a full track with that baseline worked into it? Holla. Nice track kid.
Oh my f**king lord! You crafted a sick loop for this beat and the vocal layering is on point. I think I reviewed this instrumental and asked to get on this one with you? I know you gotta do your solo thing, it's all good. lol. Amazing flavor kid.
Yo man this is pretty sick. That guitar samples you cut does have some click, but you cover it up pretty well when the beat drops. I like the bass changes and whatnot in here too. They keep it fresh.
You got some bizarre grooves bundled in here man. I like em. That little reggae type sample especially gets me moving. Lot's of changed too which keeps things fresh and keeps me interested. Had to DL this one. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the kind words. As far as I go, the more bizarre the better, as long as it makes you bob your head a bit.
...and you are more than welcome.
Banger! Very appealing and impressive track LI. The beat changes are sick and your sister's got soul. Who's the other lyricist you got on this track? Is that you? This is a well rounded track man. Really really nice work.
I think it's fun to take old rhymes and lay them over new beats. It's like finding an old favorite shirts, washing it up to wear out again. haha. The hook sounds good to me. The way you layer it is dope. Great beat too. Nice one Mal.
That's a Mr.E beat? Sick sh*t. The mix sounds righ to me. This Baby Jane-Dola combo works great. Back and forth like you're laying it down in the same studio. Both of ya offering up cool punch lines for us. Well done crew!
Cool track dude, def got that jack Russell style too it. I like the echos you use in the clap and elsewhere. Piano Reeves? haha. What's next Orlando Boom? I can tell you have an awesome sense of humor.
Thats what's up! This beat is scorching hot man digging the style. A bit of a teaser track regarding length. I'd love to hear the whole track man. Definitely a fav for me thanks for sharing.
Solid remix, ya did good. Bass sounds a little distorted in the headphones so you know. Other than that it's spot on. Most times peeps can't match up the vocals to the beat. Not the case here, it's right on time. Thanks for remixing my voxs man!
Can't say I'm well versed in the differences of Dub and reggae. It's kind of like the rap to hip hop thing. Anyway, this is a solid track and it definitely stands out among its contenders. Very original sound your got brewing here Jah. Mos def in the running for my vote in this genre boy.
This is a real nice track. Great vibe and style you're putting forth with your music. Plus the vocals are a great match. Def in the running for my vote.
Very different than what I'm used to hearing, but since you took the time to remix my vocals I thought it proper to show a little love. Honestly I can't say i love it. The vocals are a little off beat. You could try and match them closer to the drum rhythm. Keep at it man. btw-I go by NEPAUL around here instead of my full name ;)
