This beat is so sick. You got more of these india stylie beats up your sleeve? Very original. It's hard to mix acapella's in like that isn't it? Good effort JDOT. The "Protein Shakes & Veggie Burritos" title change was a nice twist. Props man.

I definitely have some more and they are just as slick (I'll be uploading one that I've been working on for 2 weeks now, its called 'As The Journey Increases') and I agree with you about the hardness factor with slicing in and out the vocals to fit ... man, I had to go through it over and over and over again until it was just right but it was totaly worth it cause Im seriously loving this track. I put it on a CD and listened to it in my boys car and s**t, it f-ing slams. You need to throw up some more acapellas or send me some more cause I got some sick s**t in mind. J DOT ~ 2006

You should have just sent me the track so I could bust a rap called "In '79." LoL. Nice 70's funk beat for sure. The changes are dope and I dig the horns in the hook. If I could offer one piece of advice it would be to match up the rhythms a little better, but no biggy. Thanks for remixing my vox.

Thanks 4 the review "again' but 2 answer your question about "bubbly bass" I just disected the sample and cut and pasted what I needed. Thats kinda how i make all my cutts. 1/4 1/8 1/16 1/32 call it "poor mans editing" If it aint broke dont try 2 fix it mentality. Love ur stuff mannnn. Prety close 2 my fav....

You did well in every aspect of the song. Even played with the hook more than other entries I've heard, which is a plus. Autotune can cover up an emcees true delivery in my opinion. Again overall real good. Props for this entry.

I listened to this during the day but kind of wish it were dark out. I like the slow creaking sound in the background that creeps out thought the track. It's not too loud, which make me listen for it. Nice work man props.

I can review this track, but can't critique cus it's where it needs to be...perfect. Rhymes are for real and the beat is ill. "too grown gotta leave it alone, addicted to this microphone." I feel the same way yo. Liked that line among others. New Fav for ya Kage.

This track feels good. early de la soulish. tight how the drums flow the rap flow...or does the rap follow the drums??? exactly! almost seems like you guys power through the verses a bit, but them slow the song down every so often to keep it fresh. cataclysm is packing a ton of words in there. fast at times but it flows nice so I really don't need to catch'em all. Props for this track. Keep bringing um!!!

de la soul was pretty much exactly what i was going for....so i guess thank you for the compliment! and to answer that question, it's a little bit of both. i had a SLIGHTLY choppy drum line already, but after we recorded and i put it into reason, i cut the drums up alot more to fit with the stops in his vocals

It's not what I make of it, it's what you made of it Budablaze! haha. It's rare to make vocal and instrumental tracks that aren't initially intended for each other fit together so nice.
