on Celthyan - Falling Feeling - Epic Powerful music by cCelthyan
Cool epic sounds. I will have to find out more about Museore 2.
cCelthyan

If you only use Musescore, you will have quite bad sounds, you need to use the "Timbres of Heaven" soundfont. Then, to add something more epic, I added other sounds from my keyboard.

Be careful, if your computer is not very powerful, the software will have some issues in the sound.

Thanks!

on Desperate For You by kriebel17
Here are my 2 cents. Nice guitar riff. Nice concept. There are lots of gaps that need filling with either vocals or a melody instrument. Good luck with version 2.

Cool classic jazz rhythm. That piano and bass just keep it moving.

on When Pretending To Care by Crusadith
Interesting combination of styles. I never cared for the growling vocals. For those who like them, they are probably good. The guitars are wild.

Interesting how you make music of the sample. Are you waiting to fill in the gap?

You have a nice intro and exit. I assume you plan to continue with a vocal overlay or a melody instrument? I thought ValVedriVer gave some interesting suggestions.

I loved your very humble beginning: "music is best when no one is listening." I am hearing some excellent musical ideas here. A nice smooth guitar gliding through artistic stringy/keyboards.

on Angel and a Demon by MOONLYTE
Another song about a demon:

https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/161727

I thought we had some very different perspectives on the evil that is in the world. Yours is full of the beauty of the angel. But there is a dark side hidden in the bowing basses. A very good piece of music. I can't wait to listen to more of your music.

on See Through by GoldenOokami
Glad you took it to a piano version. Nice music. I think it is a bit flat (not much dynamic range).
GoldenOokami
GoldenOokami replied 13th Nov 2014 - 11 years ago
I appreciate your comment. I tried to make it identical to the original. Of course, it won't sound as good compared to actual voices, however I'm satisfied with this. Thanks again.

on ShortBusMusic Proximal Vicinity Ft Mark Ratcliffe by Spivkurl
Excellent sounds. Great songs. I would like to hear the vocals up a little more in the mix (I had difficulty understanding them). I think it is an excellent song.
Spivkurl
Spivkurl replied 16th Dec 2014 - 10 years ago
Hey, thank you for the kind comment! It was good fun to help make this song what it is. I know what you mean about the vocals, but I guess I liked it this way where the vocals were more on level with other instruments... as that is what they are, an instrument. By this time I had already heard this song SO MANY times, that I may have hurried it slightly. Probably won't go back though, as everyone involved seems happy with the results. Thank you again!

on Marrow E by Ishimizu
As you said, very raw and very dissonant. The beginning was smooth and mellow, almost lulled me to sleep. Then there is that loud line. Then mellow sleepiness then WAM BAM high energy dissonance...
Ishimizu
Ishimizu replied 7th Nov 2014 - 11 years ago
gotta admit, I do like to use pretty extreme differences in loudness and such things in a track... maybe a side effect of liking classical music where dynamics play quiet a big role... and for dissonance: well, I haven't put it in the Hardcore genre without reason :P
