I like the jazzy feel and beat ... Kudos to Kobe Banks for that and absolute compliments to the rap delivery. Great track, CAP!

on Tell Me Your Side by dimestop
Hi Paul, I think this is your most emotional track yet and it's great that you express your emotions so honestly. The choice of track is also once again absolutely fitting for you. I like how you layered the different voices... really well done.
Cheers,
Micky

hi Micky your words are warming my friend, songs are about expression, this is something everyone here can relate to, you all know me and of course Manuela, why shouldn't i sing about someone i care about, she is a positive in my music and selfishly i want more advice from, Manuela knows this too, i told her, she smiled. we are here to learn improve and share, she is fitting of such a song as is Angelica too.

the. next chapter begins.

as you too like to spin yarns and play with skit and humour, watch out for my two track production coming soon, i will expect a comment from you, in your own beautiful fantasy in response to my description, these two are bigger than s
Snoop and Elon, remember them too, trying to steal OUR glory :)

on VT Nights ft 2nick8 - Coz I Like Ya by Kayos2
Hey Oli, this is a beautiful track that somehow defies any genre. Everything sounds great and the overall mood is exciting. The instrumentation is excellent and Nick fits perfectly into the track. Bravo and Kudos!

on Obsession by AnthonyAttard
Hello Anthony, this beautiful track has something of a breathing exercise about it... breathe in... breathe out... Wonderful instrumentation, beautiful structure... you can tell you're going for depth, as I've noticed before. In fact, I could even imagine rapping to it, but not myself LOL... that would be terrible. But it really is a well-rounded composition and it was a pleasant listening experience. My compliments.
Cheers,
Micky

Hello Micky
Thank you so much for dropping by and for posting your comment. It is really a very good feeling to know there is audience. It is your reactions that give a reason to all this. It does not have to be a like, it can be a non like or a dislike, but it is a reaction and it is interfering. That's why I have listened to one of your songs and I will surely listen to more. Neanderthal, how great you live to a place where such a serious discovery for us humans was made!
I wish you the best, Anthony

I came across this track by chance and have to say, it's great. It's not a genre I'm familiar with, but I'm still impressed.

on Weltschmerz by dimestop
Oh yes, this Weltschmerz is something I know as a daily companion. How strange that it is a German word. Unusual rhythm for your style, but as always no problem for you. Great work, Paul.

Hi Twanna, I had to stop by and listen again. Wow, this thing is really wild and beautiful. I just think it should be crowned by your unique voice! If you ever feel like producing something again, let me know... I'm always ready.
Best wishes,

on EARLY - NOT THROUGH WITH ME YET by NDAPOCKET123
Well, if that's not a sign... just three days ago I downloaded your song HE'S NOT THROUGH WITH US YET and thought about whether I could do something with it. Now this comes along... absolute blast, Ira!

on Smoke and Mirrors by Zootman
Hi Chris, I think you've done something special because despite the rocky, distorted guitars and drums, the track exudes calm and, as is often the case with you, it exudes spaciousness. Very nice!

on They See Me Shining featuring SkiMidi by Tumbleweed
The whole thing sounds quite lo-fi, which I find unusual for this style, but all the more interesting. And your guitar: So I can somehow hear the dear (God bless him) Eddie Hazel coming out of it...? A tiny bit? The sound, guitar and vocal track work excellently together. Compliment!
Cheers, Micky
Tumbleweed
Tumbleweed replied 23rd Apr 2024 - 1 year ago
ah yes Eddie was the funkmeister of guitar. Guess most everything I do would sound pretty lo fi Mickey..been playing since the 60s and dont know when to quit..not much interest in the canned commercial stuff that avoids compositional thinking (gees..I sound like my parents). Big thanks for the kind comments..cheers..Ed

on Still Time by theHumps
Well-crafted track in your typical, straightforward style. I think this is a nice example of how well it can work with clean and sparsely divided guitar parts. Personally, I would have placed an additional, thin guitar with a few notes far into the background in the last part to open up the space at the end. But of course that's a matter of taste.
Cheers,
Micky

Thanks man!

I try not to over produce my tracks, the keep it simple stupid approach, he. I wish I had harmonicas in all the keys because I might have added some here and there, possibly in the end to fill in some spaces.

Take care!

It runs like liquid, warm caramel. Everything is in the right place, nothing too much, nothing too little. Excellent lesson in funk.

Oh yes, it's absolutely cinematic and evokes images of vast landscapes. This reminds me of my incredible travels with Jynxz...sigh. Great sound, Chris. I'm still working on this one track, it's definitely coming...

on LEVELS get what you need to get by dimestop
I don't know enough about the hip hop/rap business to say anything about your rhymes... but you're certainly great at it and definitely unique. But what I can say for sure is that you're getting better at handling music, you're constantly developing. In addition, you always make a good choice when it comes to the tracks that suit you. Keep it up, sir!

on DENOW 2 by jetech
Hi jetech, this is an amazingly compelling track for me. Very artistic and inspired. You take it really slowly and then the track builds up with all sorts of sounds that make it a movie-like trip. It's kind of magical. A wonderful job... Compliments!

on Fortune Teller by spearcarrier
You know that the first time I listen to it, I already have ideas about how I could expand on it. But as it is, it's a wonderful original ... an organic, natural song with a story... something I could never do. I wish I was blessed with poetic talent too... well, yeah, I'll have to live with just being a dance band musician. I love the sound of your voice and look forward to every opportunity to play with it... ;o)

on Cymantics by thoughtdoc
I came across your track purely by chance and I'm really impressed. To be honest, I wouldn't have expected something like this to be in the Dance category, even though it fits there too. But it's also a very nice chill out track with a hypnotic effect. Very calming and stimulating at the same time. Excellent work!
