Thank-you, Jamid. I have removed almost all of the tracks I've posted over the years on Looperman and am starting over. I started off here trying to produce EDM, probably gravitating toward trance. Fellow Looperman members were encouraging and supportive, but the truth is that I really wasn't all that good at it. That was disappointing. I really like the music. But, for some reason, I seem to be creating stuff that links back more to the music I grew up with. I guess that's not the worst direction to go in. Backwards? :)
Thank you again! My holidays have been acceptable, as well as intense and frightening (as usual). They are not an ends to themselves, but a fleeting moment to strip away what is in myself, and which I no longer need. Sometimes the moment is missed, and I think I have *mostly* hit the mark. Your comment this work, and it's reception on this site in general, has surprised me. This surprise has given me a feeling of artistic license which I have not felt before. The mind opens, and in creeps Spivkurl.
Cinematic genres are my favourite, I like what you done here.
But unfortunately I’m not familiar with Rex Darkenum ?
However, if you do need any help let me know?
Never apologize. We all come and go as we please. Its always good to hear from you. Yes, the instrumentation is kind of big in this one. Not many quiet sections. I'm glad you liked it and I hope you're around when the next one rolls out. Thanks for the kind words!
Hello Billy
Wow this is absolutely brilliant mate.
As you know I love your voice, more so in this track so current and captivating and fits well with the track.
i'm scared of those drones, but gotta get over that. yea - i'm hoping to expand this, refine a bit more. glad you were liking it though. appreciate it very much. regards.
Mate this track really surreal I mean it as a nice way of course.
It is captivating yet suborning your mind.
My hats off to you mate.
Brilliant work.
Jamid
Jamid, your comments are a constant reminder of why I keep coming back to Looperman! It seems like this is one of the few places where I can interact with like minded people, or at least people who understand what I'm doing. Your words do not go unappreciated! Even the person who inspired the EP, and was the first to receive a cassette copy, has not given even a simple reaction. Life is strange that way, those who drive us to create or act, are often not the ones who seize the moment or benefit from the acts. It helps me realize how it is the act of creation which is the most important, and less about where it comes from or where it goes. We can't predict our effects upon the world. Thank you!
