Super riffing groove if all Dub was like this I'd become a convert....the subtleties that you introduce every bar make for an incredible sound..it's very controlled but totally free and organic,a quality that has become the Rei sound we love so much...every note is absorbed by the listener like water on a sponge....cheers planet :)

I love this place...now I know what Dub is...there's an excellent separation of sounds here and they compliment each other perfectly..the slight staccato rhythmic cadence would be incredible under a strobe light and gives rise to an almost Eastern beat just under the surface and at the periphery.......fantastic new age music!....cheers planet :)

Planet,
Thanks. This is fun stuff and besides, Barry did most of the work...I just plugged in and made loud noises for a few minutes. Scared the hell out of my cats and the neighbor lady was yelling something but I couldn't hear her over the shred....Totally Joe's Garage.

on FRANKS REVENGE by RonGallagher
Hey MrV...A trip down memory lane...Being an absolute Zappa disciple I can feel the vibes of the early 'Mothers' in this one...the bass is great! everyone's scrambling to keep up with you!...super late 60's vibe, all it needs is a Zapparist voice over discussing vacuum cleaners and their part in the sexual revolution!.....cheers planet :)

Frank is one of my biggest influences. To receive such a kind compliment from another Hungry Freak Daddy....is just so weirdly cool. More Frank stuff coming. Thanks.

Must be some eighties leaking out of the vocals I think.....this is really interesting...it's a little spacey which I like in a song, almost time stretched...I was concentrating on trying to understand the words and was surprised when the rhythm caught up and nearly bowled me over......very effective!..cheers Planet

It's impossible to visualize the progression of European influence within the modern movement, without reference to Sartie..Possilbly the cinematic genre is the one that transported his classic French romanticism into the hearts of so many.....A beautiful touching interpretation that shows your seemingly endless musical perspective.....cheers Dave :)

Love the staccato feel..This is more loose and punky than a lot of your material MrPC...I love it!...'Heeps of street cred' as they would say...I would say...'A spontaneous reaction to rhythm, not unlike a Hummingbirds ability to fly backwards, both enthralling and astounding'....Excellent! cheers planet

Hehe...Train wreck beat ..This is very different with god knows what going on..but for the record let it be stated that I like it!...the pauses give great effect to the vocals..love that ending...If you could dance to this..I'd pay money to see that...never a dull moment with you VP...cheers planet :)

on You Can't Stop Chuck Norris by ChuckNorris57
Probably the best Disco tune I've heard..Disco..Dance is there any difference?.....but moving right along and being mindful of your chin....I think this is the best song ever written, performed, conceived or speculated upon in the known universe...a subtle mix of enthralling rhythms concrete assertions and widely held beliefs..all encapsulated within one song!can life get any better than this?..I think not!...Obviously a whole new criteria for assessing popular music will have to be instigated with the release of this track..songs done before 'You can't stop Chuck Norris' and songs after 'You Can't Stop Chuck Norris'....we are witnessing history in the making here!.......a humble Looper....planet :o
