Hey Spivkurl....I was just listening to a remix of Blue Monday (New Order) and was thinking how little a kick roll is used, but how effective it sounds!
Anyhow I really liked the synths used and the harder style you put into this one

Thanks Trax! I actually just went through and did a new mix on the levels and tweaked the "mastering". Take another listen if you get a chance sometime!

I tried stripping down the track to its bare essential. I think I had a tendency to crowd the mix with useless elements. I've been focusing on basic elements and keeping things simple. I know most of todays tracks have that " look what I can do factor" but I'll keep my style simple.
