Well hello again Carole you did have a good sense of timing to release these deep messages. Dig the instrument sounds and vocals, did you put everything together yourself? Felt cinematic to me I liked it and your voice and lyrics really share a strong view of hope. Nice. I enjoyed the ideas here, thanks for sharing. Peace.

Hello Dave,
Nothing much to say about the "music", honestly.
It's just so moving to get back here and come across friends like you...
Thank you from the bottom of what's left of it.
Take care.

Nice place to be lost, when one looks beyond ones nose and
travels beyond what one can see, they are not lost...
They have found that place we all seek, that is the place where
Ideas are born dreams are lived, "The walk about" that transitional
place of growth...Take time to understand it all, just got to live it... :)

Your talent tells me, GOD gave you a gift, that he only gives to his
Angels that sing for the world, when they are here...
It is a gift that you must learn to enjoy and not let it destroy you
as a person...I'm sure you've seen them by the wayside...

This is more then Beautiful it's Magical I would like to hear more...
And will look at your page...

Peace...TG.

I don't know how to speak what I felt while reading your comment, TG...
May God bless you for your words that reminded me how good it feels to be alive. T'was so dark where I've been. I'm sorry, it's still quite hard to get back in touch with the world...
Be welcome on my page. May you survive my poor music skills :)
Merci, from the deep,
Carole

Hello Orlando,
Erm no, I really can't accept any compliments from you about the music, as I told Ed.
I thank you for listening to my humble try on that piece you visibly know.
Brekovic surely heard it sung by an angel while sleeping.
Merci for your words.

Hello Ed,
So good to get back here... Far from the surrounding dirt. Erm...
I just wanted to try singing that beauty of the gipsy folklore. The music around is crap, nothing compared to what true musicians like you, Behnam, Bear and loads of others here are able to do.
Music and true love are the only treasures on earth to me now.
I've missed you and the fam...
Hug and kiss.

How good to see/hear a new post from you Carole...I am a bit late finding this one I see...but I had stopped by your place several times in the past hoping to hear something from you...perhaps I repeat myself but you have a fantastic voice and such expressive delivery...and your versatility shows in this one again....Like it just the way it is......It is a bit of an unusual combination but that is the kind of thing that makes it creative and your talent makes it good listening too....well done....Ed..(PS: I had a track posted using some of your acapellas until I started reducing the numver of posts over on my page....not sure if you had a listen but would be happy to send you a copy of the mix if you like...still have your contact info from last year )

I only have 2 qualms with this one:

1. Audio quality. Easy fix: Render out in wave, then convert to either 320kbps or 450kbps.

2. Vocals. Easy fix: Turn them down about 1-3db

That's about all I can think of ^_^

Hi Carole,
So good to hear again your wonderful voice!
So ... dubstep is not my cup of tea... but I love the chord progression and the melody that you sing on it.
Good ... very good.
The change at 1:58 is a real nice touch. And from there the 3 vocal tracks that work together... Loved it!
Thanks again for sharing your talent with us.
Ciao, Domenico

Hello. This is some interesting mix of dubstep and pop. Quite unusual but still it works... I'd love to hear some strings and acoustic guitar instead of heavy sounding synths, it's basically an acoustic/pop song here for me and I think your arrangement simply overpowered the vocals. There's also some issue with the mix here - a lack of clarity. It sounds to me like very fast made production... Hope some of this is useful.
Also I love your vocals, this last half a year I incorporated so many of your lm acapellas on my tracks. Some of them are really interesting, you might check it out if you will have some time and simply want to.
Either way, thanks for great vocals!
Best to you, Alex

Carole, your voice is lovely and the song is lovely - reminds me of Keren Ann. It's ironic, I used one of your pellas the piano loop in one of my tracks. Very different but I though it was interesting. To be honest, I'm not sure the mood of the song goes with the arrangement but it is still good. I can hear this with strings underneath or even as a disco or dance track. Just my take - your stuff is always first rate.

Much Respect,
-clindsay

Hello Janis

knew this would be brilliant, when read Bear was involved, then your vocals started and it confirmed this excellent, beautiful tone to the vocals, nice warmth, have to agree brillbilly this does have an ABBA sound especially the vocals, which it isn't thing to achieve of the super group they are, but you have one of the very very few artist that can get the sound in vocals like ABBA could, massive credit to you Janis, excellent piece of work and listen...Thank you for sharing this great piece...Massive fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

This is nice. All the harmonies done by vocal alone. It must have taken a while to layer all those vocals down like that.
Whoah! I don't know if i've just suddenly learned how to understand French, or did you switch to English towards the end?
It's a nice piece. Kind of reminds me of what the flying pickets did (I bet you have no idea who they were? lol)
Good to see you posting new stuff anyhow.
This was nice to wake up to this morning.

Bonjour Carole ....

Hahaha!

This is weird Janis...something different from your latest works...I think you know how to sing :-) :-) :-)

But there was a special effect appeared in my headphones at around 0.35...is that a cat or a baby? or did I hallucinate? :-)
Good fun...both the song and this fx...:-)

Congrats and kisses, Danke
