it is great to be able to experience the different moods of this music when I realize you made it just using those synths - I love the sound-image!
my favourite part is from 4:41 when voco soloing starts - it could last even longer...
Your track definitely reminds of the older electronic which I am really enjoying - unlike something I can hear in the mainstream nowadays. It was a good therapy. Thank you. Alex

Alex, always spot on with the instrumentation. It is a synth sound from the Korg EA-1 processed through the MS2000 Vocoder.
Thanks as always.

The 2:30 mark is what did it for me - when you brought the beat together. Very slick. Would have loved to hear a little more of that piano over that. All-in-all - cool piece.

Thanks mightymemphis. I agree I should have added more piano work. something i might play around with in the future as I now own an actual piano instead of using the Yamamha grande piano from the RM1x.

Didn't start as good as this piece is. Very Smooth and emotional track. I like this a lot.

P.S. I was rating the intro, now I have to listen some more.

(Thumbs UP!) Incredible, actually.

The mix is on point. I really do like this though. Thank you for making this track.

True MattBeater, it is a clumsy, but emotional start. Sort of how a small bird in a nest clumsily flies out of the nest. Then the whip sounds are the beating of wings until the break at 5;30 when are young chick soars into the sky. (the vocoded synth solo is the mother bird encouraging her young with Bird-talk). Music used to tell a story.

very soothing chill vybes in the beginning followed by a love-step feel type of beat. very new very hip . One might even call this Love-Trap . This is some real deal type stuff where you are headed! Congrats on this lovely composition. Definite great stuff here. Take care -EazyBeatz-

Thanks Easy. Song was originally recorded in 2003 I just remastered it (Originally the piano I used was from the Yamaha RM1x and I filtered it too much with Cutoff and Resonance, so a low pass filter and eq, later I re-engineered it. Love-Trap I like that name but interesting that you find it a current sound. My more experimental works like this tend to be years ahead of being accepted. But I also understand what you mean especially with the sub bass , glitchy drums and the metalic percussion.
Thanks for the comments.

hi again, very nice one -I am liking the percussions in the intro and all very gentle drums throughout. The 'frog-like' kind of synth bassline definitely reminds me of your 'Bedroom Games'. I like the placement of instruments in the recording spectrum too. Very fine synth lead from 2:37 - nice played, something like Tangerine Dream - a kind of a guitar almost!
Very soft and calming sounds! Alex

Thanks for listening Alex.
You are correct about Bedroom games. Sensuality pre-dates bedroom games by a bit, but was my attempt at capturing the glory sound of sensuality. I have a radio review where the announcers critique the song and say that I play my synths like a guitarist and can evoke emotion through the usage of my synths.
glad U liked!

Well i'm no expert on chill out but i like the atmosphere's that i'm hearing here. It's very funky and sort of leftfield sounding. You do a lot of different genres well so it's no suprize that this is nothing short of brilliant. Love the pad work, it's really dreamy and flows with the funky bassline perfectly. Dig the guitarish synths in the breakdown and i'm a little jealous of your soloing skills.
An epic piece of chill out that hits all the right buttons.

Really chilled out production. Has a lurking in the jungle vibe to it at some parts. Really digging the pads and sound choice. Has a cinematic flare as well, great work. Mixed real well too, peace

Sup Crucethus, first off i agree with the others. Has a circus vibe ( More so in the beginnning) but an seemingly transparent aggressive dreamy nature to it. (Idk if i can realistically combine those words, but meh i just did) It's transparent in the way it blends together nicely. Love that breakdown by the 3 min mark, interesting and creative mixture of sounds here. Progressively arranged track here, nice work! peace

sounds good to me. sometimes I just look at the wave form and can tell how interesting it is gonna be. I mean, there are discreet sections, and you can see that intensity levels change up. as for the sounds - it's very sophisticated and impressive from where I stand. peace.

Hey Steve

Never heard this style of trance before, but this is good, picked up a couple of loops early and at the mid stages of the track that I have in my library, technically maybe not a trance piece in some ways but does have a lot of trance elements running through it, best part of this track I love is the arrangement, the way it has been done, gives you a few different tracks all rolled into one, but still keeps it in one track if that makes sense? which makes it extremely interesting for the listener, which this piece does...Fav'd...Thank you for sharing this enjoyable listen man...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Sorry I haven’t gotten back to you sooner as I don't unusually pay attention to this track much any-more since it was the first one I Uploaded on Looperman. This is more derivative of my style that tends to have many musical ideas, but as I like to explore... how do I weave them all into one and make it coherent? This is a very raw version of my thought process with looping. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Not bad. Sounds very good.

Regarding Putin. He is not the bad guy. The West support's a Neo-Nazi coup D'état in Ukraine and call it democracy and the media lie about it. They also said Saddam had WMD even though it was not true.

The truth is starting to come out:

The break at about 1:20 was fantastic and very unexpected considering the beginning was so upbeat. But it really works to get the feeling from the description.

I love that as musicians, we can represent our sentiments, thoughts and feelings through the music we write. You used a lot of loops very creatively to convey your intentions here. What can I say that others haven't said, great track Steve!

Thanks Wayne. I really enjoy trying to use music alone as a way to convey thought or emotion. I am glad you were able to see that in this song. Many thanks.

Hi Steve,

Apologies for not commenting sooner ( I thought I had!) this was a track I played on my first ever loopradio show back in February, and rightly so. I love everything about this track, the way you set the scene, the subtle changes..but above all its a banging very well produced track. Thanks for letting me play it Steve.

Very best wishes,

Mark/Larry!
