This right here is what Rammstein would have been if they came out in the early stages of Industrial back in the late 70s- early 80s. Imagine a Rammstein without Til Lindemann and this is what it would be.
I think the only thing I would have done differently would have been to add a sub bass line as a bottom end platform. It's a good and interesting mix,(both in concept and levels, etc.) and I think that sub would be Lebowski's rug. Ya know?
I hope it doesn't get as hot up there in the GWN as it is here in the US Midwest. Today is the coolest day of the week with something like 80f. By the end of the week it's supposed to be up to 100f. And the in-laws want to do a Father's Day BBQ. I think they forget I'm from the Northwest where it averages 75 in the summers. I'm a panzy when it comes that heat, man! But, good food should make it easier, right?
Thanks, mate, sorry for the late reply, I'm in the process of starting a new career. Ironically I have been listening to quite a bit of the new Rammstein lately. Also to your sub-bass comment, there actually is a sub-bass line but I just need to bring it up in the mix. Today is Ste Jean-Baptiste day in Quebec with a sunny but warmer day 28c(82f). I plan on BBQing a nice steak with mushroom caps and herbed potatoes. We are pairing it with a 2020 Snoop Dogs, 19 crimes cali red wine, which I have never tried.

That's really fun! This is one of those genres (metal/house?) I was really eager to try out when I started combining guitars and Ableton, but I was never able to come up with anything interesting. You did, of course!
Cheers!
Thanks, mate, sorry for the late reply, I'm in the process of starting a new career. I believe that all genres have the ability to be merged and for something cool to come out of that,
Love that sound in the intro perfect transition with The Rock the base is hitting though I love that the mixing the transitioning is excellent well done! Good stuff Steven
I really like what you threw into the pot on the one. I have a recording taken off a friend's remote control dalek that would go great with the first part of this! Stuff like, "now the daleks are rulers of the earth", and, "bring the humans to me" etc....
Pot Au Feu du Musique ehh! Daleks, not so much. As much as I appreciate the Dr. Whoverse, let's just say it's a Metal guy meets a Brazillian girl and they are playing games with each other, no Daleks, no Death, just a mismatched couple of kids connecting.
Ahhhh Cru! I'm A student in your school! Is that a smidgen of Afro beats and a pinch of electro house, maybe? Whatever the style, you did this right. Great job having me bounce at the computer.
So, it was a Brazillian afro beat with touches of House and Moombahton with that metal crunch and as Phantom states a touch of Death. glad U liked and could bounce to it.
Goodmorning.
This is a cool mix!!
its like house with heavy metal.
Well mister im impressed with this one.
Very original and everything fits perfect together.
Almost went disco house for a few min after the third change. Nice kick tone. The whole mix is a bit muffled, but that's probably by design, a genre stylistic choice (I usually "master" so about -10 LUFS average, this is probably more like -15ish).
Old stuff is good and all... where's the new stuff?
Great tune man 8 years old and still sounds fressh a test of time truly.
ace tune as i said.
but what is priceless is the info in the coments your convo with StaticNomad was something else and very imformative and funny to read gd to catch an old een fae you min...
Hey Cru - an oldie but a goldie - great stereo mix and to my ears this track just gets better as it goes along love esp. from around the 450 mark on ... but perhaps you had just lolled me into an alternate state by that point : )
Cru, you’ve got bounce as far as the ears can hear. Loving the right in the room with me vocals. The mix is pristine as always and quite clever how the different movements stayed right with that infectious bounce. Well, well done Cru. Peace
nice work mate you gave me advice to take the surf sound out of my surf song in mastering pretty much wasnt the problemplate and reverb spring reverb what makes surf sound problem was i messd up the playing on guitar and over mixed it
Hey Buddy - nice groove here - I like that kind of minimalist industrial start and how it gets a little more funky as it goes along and love way you have 'orchestrated' (not literally) the transitions. Rich and exotic textures and instrumentation a head busting beat. Hope you have made a full recovery - I had a lingering cough for a month post covid ... ughh ... though good to make music when you dont feel like doing anything else hey : )
Thanks, Mate, starting to recover, my sense of taste and smell came back yesterday. Still feel awful though. 2weeks and the cough continues so I have that to look forwards to.
great track.....lots people here pumpin out songs....but your consistently doin a great production....did u play bass...coz wow...hmmm...i might keep these 2 parts seperate in your track..as in 2 songs...but thats your M.O......cheers
