The drum pattern is a little bit Sweeney-ish....definitely feeling the piano loop and the pad that comes through...the bassline is real cool too...nice one mate...
Ok mate..I have listened to this now with the cans and I think what is missing is a pad or summmit...That deep saw bass sound needs less stereo seperation coz it Feels empty coz its so wide..actually that bass at the end with the kick is awsome!! Then bringing in the saw bass , then some higher pads over the top maybe...Like I said before the percs sound great, tho i think the kick needs more low end on it.
If you could find a female vocal a bit like ....bizarre inc "playing with knives" you know just a short line that repeats..that would kick #####!!

I'm wonderin what you mean by, "from scratch.." I have only listened to this on laptop speakers so far as I am scotland and i dont have my headphones with me..
I was not sure about this at first..the melody was a bit too hard for me, but the percs sound awsome on the laptop. I think it is a great baseline track but it needs more layers to give it depth. Actually I will probably update this review when i have heard it on the headphones, coz the drums stand out for me right now....
thanks for the review mate. from scratch i meant that i have used no presets in their original condition. i think it probs will sound much better with a bigg speakers its the bass that sets this track off for me.
anyway our track will be only its way today was the first chance i have had all week and i got sidetracked or chained i guess u could say. anyway its in the pipeline

Nice track Hunta! Lovely pads, beat and piano. Loving the gating,it worked really well with your pads. The track seems like it was arranged to just sit some vocals on top. I'd love to hear some vox on it, but dont expect anything from me. :P

Cool bass and great intro but later on i'd think of LP'ing the bass so it doesn't mix up everything. Moving that aside everything great, loving your melody! Dark and deep, classy one. Cool hardcore feel with the help of sidechain. And some nice loop you made, lately i'm trying "from scratch" too appreciating the effort :)
P.S. When i saw the phrase "dark trance" my ears were searching for some dark pads..

Well, I like polar bears after listening to this track. *s* Niiice! I actually felt like I was watching one of those shows on tv where the animal subject becomes a lot more interesting 'cuz the music's so soul stirring. You don't want to change the channel 'cuz you've already closed your eyes and settled in for a glorious ride. This is fantastic! The pans, the sounds, the blend, the production... ya did ya thang, bruh!
I'm dreaming... great track Hunta, I really like how at certain points it slows into a very dreamy trance part then back up into a trance blaze again, so cool. The build ups a top notch too, I'm diggin it, there are a lot of pay-offs in this one. Kudos Hunta!!!!
Nice remix i will check out the original right now too. Sick bassline and percs. Loved the moment somewhere around 1:40 with the melody fading in and single kicks.
You never cease to excite me i became addicted to your music. Flawless quality and atmosphere i always wonder how can you explain everything to people only with some music. Hey mate!!! LOve the bass and the kick is bangin. Only thing I felt straight away is the seperation on the kick..I always feel you should keep the kick right in the middle of the mix then everything else sounds bigger!! Take a wee listen to my song London 0300. Thats pretty much what i tried to do...
The synth on this and the sidechaining is top notch too!!! I really think the only thing is the kick. Think if yo center it and lift the lower end it'll come together!! Hope that helps mate!! Great tune.!!

I thought that about the seperation myself but i just seemed to make it beefier on my system but i listened to it with heaphones and it sounded pretty bizarre. so thanks for the tip. I have just been having a look at our track there and i don't really know what else to do with it. i can finish the arrangement but apart from that its got all the relevent parts. what do u think? any ideas. i am suffereing a little from block i think!
The quality and build are great in my opinion, really cool track but i think that the bass should be a bit more centered i don't know if it's just me or my speakers but i felt it had too much stereo separation. The ending panned effect was really cool btw
