Greetings.

You have been successful in what you were trying to do as this one has a very chilled groove and vibe within a few seconds.

Good beat too.

2:51 I like the heavily reverbed louder percussion. Very effective at making the track bigger and better.

More I could say about it but that'll do for now.

" the Ten MB limit doesn't allow for a lot of heavy effects does it"

I have no idea what you're talking about. I upload very heavily effected tracks all the time at 128K (I have to cos they're so long) and they sound OK.

Very good track, I like the sound of the whole track
shows you've got skills...
Did you play the parts on guitars..? or are they loops...
They have a good sound...

Well done...
Peace...TG.

Please forgive me for not replying individually just now but I am sooooo tired!
It's all loops/samples no midi.
Lots of VST's etc.
I get an idea for a mood/scene and try for it that's my buzz.
I happened to come across Je T'aime on Youtube and thought that has to be the sexiest most laid back tune I ever heard gotta try and create a similar feel.
Thankyou for all your kind comments.

they say a good sounding bass well mixed with the drum set is the foundation for a great mix and you have that going. I love the mellow feel of this one and the intro of a female vocal loop was pleasant surprise. cheers. Dan

I know the song you are referring to and I hear the similarities. I like the guitars in the song, some cool effects, tones and fade outs. What are you using for guitars/amps? There is some nice dynamics to the song even though the song is low key and chilled with some tension thrown in.

There is one synth or pad at the beginning, about :18 that reminds me of the music that is on my digital scrabble game I play, lol.

I enjoyed this thoroughly and will download this gem so I will thank you kindly! First track of the day, couldn't have been any better.

Hi mate!

May I suggest you something...Why don't you just lower the bit rate of mp3's you're uploading. I suspect your mp3's are at 320 kbps which is indeed the highest quality for mp3 (at
least in theory), yet I think that 256 or even only 224 kbps wouldn't make a difference for the average human ear
but it brings benefits in material length, cause less mb's are needed. For example most of my tracks are at only 192 kbps or even lower in case of extra-long tracks,
yet I don't notice any significant difference if I raise them to 256 or 320 or even when I convert them from lossless wav files. I really think that as far as the Looperman is in question the music material itself should have the priority over technical perfectionism in terms of uploading limits!

But let's leave this aside for now cause I have to tell you that I'm really enjoying your new track even though you're saying it should have been longer. My sincere opinion is that you truly succeeded to capture that
"je taime" kind of feel....On top of that it's incredibly well produced...and who knows, maybe those 320 kpbs really contribute to a bit better sound clarity..haha...:) Faved!

Thankyou for your kind comments my friend and your advice.
I think you're right.
I used to be able to upload eight minutes of heavily edited and engineered sound but can't.
I reckon a setting has changed and I haven't noticed!
I shall check it out tomorrow.
Thanks again Orlando.

hello silverman

the actual waveform you've created here is probably much fatter than the looperman space apparently available for this particular track - I had to turn my speakers down to some degree the moment your music started. is there a kind of overall overkill happening here and that's ok? at least for some members.

nice loop combination

Dear MrSilverman,
This track is of good quality, no doubt about it.
The "hammering rhythm" of the synth bass delivers well the idea of people marching. The synth arpeggios are keeping the listener "awake" and building the right amount of tension.
The change in the final section, with the (real?) guitar comes in at the right moment.

I am not sure that WarPigs could fit here... but it would be an interesting experiment (unfortunately I cannot help you, I cannot sing at all).

Thanks for sharing your music with us.
Ciao, Domenico

Outstanding work Silverman. Definitely captures the vision of folks marching off to war. That section with the arpeggios at the 1:50 mark is really, really nice. The great thing about this tune is it holds the listener's interest all the way through.

It definitely deserves a video of some kind. One of your best I think. Added to favorites. I hope all is well.

This has some big cinematic hints to it. I also hear some synth influence and a unique drum pattern. Nice percussion! and great synths used. Nice listen!

Some great sounds in this track. The big "distorted trombone" sound was pretty cool. Sounds a bit industrial to me. A little Herbie Hancock sound in there as well. Would love to see a computer generated video done for this, my mind is full of ideas.

Pretty cool track, interesting all the way through and a great combination of sounds using all the freq range. Well done!

Thank you for your comments.
I thought industrial cinematic rock!
That piece of music you've put up is awesome stuff.
Takes me back to my wonderfully misspent youth in the early seventies but try as I might I can't pull a name out of the hat and I think it's because it may well have a retro feel to it but it is totally original.
