There is a very retro-futuristic sound you convey here. I get Depeche Mode in the Verse. But your voice is distinct gruff and very good for this song. This is just good pop. great job.

First question above and beyond the music. How is your Pop doing. Is he OK now? What a great thing you have shared together...the creation of music. The Bonds of Art shared. This tune brought a tear to my eye this evening. Thanks for sharing this one and don't change a thing about this one. The rawness makes it more powerful. That being said and removing myself from the emotion for a minute to talk music.

The only thing I would do different is maybe clean up the individual tracks with eq and compression and panning and maybe end with an acoustic guitar coda from the beginning opening bars so we don't have such an abrupt ending shouting "hold on". that coda will give the listener a moment to reflect on the emotion of the piece and add some hope instead of hanging on fear and desperation.
Truly a great listen this evening. I am glad I clicked on it

Man, these are some of the best vocals I've ever heard on this site! You have a REALLY good voice. Reminds me of the '90s and anything that does that is just awesome!

Very well written, it's just the sound quality that is lacking. I'm really impressed. I tend to listen to heavier, darker stuff, but your voice caught my attention.

The fact is that this song is working in this position superbly too...(for me)
Cause the vocs are extremely strong...my only suggestion to add some solo kinda thing from 2.28 and 3.39...should tell you that I will try it but I'm a wooden-handed sucker one on guitars so...:-)
