It's great to hear more sibling collaboration here on Looperman.
Thanks for sharing this track, I haven't heard this Lifehouse-Bedingfield collab before. Love the lyrics and melody here just as I appreciate your originals. The vocals are touching and calming. Great job, both of you!
Turn this to a real song? Well i think this is, the guitar sounds a little bit well don`t know flat maybe? Vocal is really good and i do like the drums fat and well mixed!
Austin, You've once again let your raw emotion bleed out of the computer speakers and envelope me in a blanket of sadness.. but still with a little bit of hope that wounds between friends will mend. The drum beats that enter mid track seem to reflect a 'melancholic heart beat'. Always a fan of your music and the way you tell your stories. Thanks for sharing this song!
Excellent voice man!..great timbre with heaps of emotion..when you get on a properly produced track you will definitely be a standout,...all the best Dave
It's distinctive, emotional, and best of all, it's in tune most of time without a load of vocal enhancements. Writing your own songs is a big plus. Personally, I'd like to hear you do country or EDM. In short, you are one talented guy.
That's not to say Looperman doesn't have a wealth of talented artists on here, however a good singer can showcase a good musician/song writer/producer's work in the best possible light.
Just a suggestion, but you may want to create a forum thread to see if you can get a producer on here to collab with you.
Based on the music you're doing so far, I'd suggest giving a listen to loops by Minor2go, Rasputin1963, Joseph Funk (he has complete tracks that are killer) among others.
I'm curious to know what your vocal range is.
Thanks in advance, as I may send some songs your way once I get my music site up.
Wow, thanks so much! Really appreciate it. I'm definitely into working with producers, I just haven't a lot of luck with a lot of them on here yet. Very open though! Definitely send me something whenever you'd like!
Hey young man!
That has intensity, at the same time intimacy, passion with sensitivity! Superb!
But you need a musical friend who loves you and which bring it to a shine, what do you want to do in the music!
Best greetings

Hey there austinmusic,
I've listened to a lot of your music on this site and absolutely love your voice and the emotion that you put into your songs. I don't know if you're interested in collaborations but I would love to collaborate with you on a song. I thought about just remixing one of your songs since I make EDM music but I figured I'd see if you want to create something original. I have a track that I'm working on right now that I was looking for some vocals and maybe a guitarist. It's sort of an Avicii style track if you know who he is. Here is a preview of it: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/179276
I know it probably isn't your typical style but the song starts out with just a piano and it feels empty without a guitar or vocals. So, let me know if you're up for a collab. If not, that's fine and keep doing what you're doing because your music is amazing!
Emotions and talent have a way of producing great music...moving lyrics, perfectly delivered with heart and in my opinion perfectly accompanied...there is something special about a good song and acoustic guitar so while its good of you to offer the tracks up for remix etc I like this just the way you have done it.....definite fav austinmusic...well done...Ed
Thank you so much, Ed. Really appreciate the kind words. I like this original, of course, and this version isn't going anywhere. It's been out for almost a year now, and I've been putting out new versions of every song from its parent EP. While the other ones lent themselves better to a more stripped back working, I think this one could make a really cool electronic track as well.
You're like "oh just another garage band demo" and it sounds like it's nearly radio ready. Maybe not in its production, but the quality of the song is just really amazing. I look forward to what you produce in the future!
The soulfulness and vulnerability you allow for the listener to be invited into in this track is exactly what this kind of music is about. You hit it on the mark with this one. The tone of your voice is so sweet to the ear. It transports you to a place in the mind where the lyrics guide you on the journey of the tune. Thank you for this track. Faved.
Austin, Thank you for baring your soul through your songs. Your voice conveys so much. You allow listeners like me to go through the process of feeling pain and vulnerability.. and then catharsis. We find strength and hope and we continue to journey with you to find our True North. Thank you for making beautiful, powerful songs. Really love the rawness of this track.
Your voice is always such a breath of fresh air. What did you use to record the guitar? Was that a dual setup or did you use reverb to create that wideness?
Thank you so much! It was a dual set up. I don't recall what mic we used for the guitar but we just set up two mics in the middle of the studio and played through it.
You remind me so much of some of the most popular singers nowadays. You have a knack for bringing out the emotions in words, which is really difficult for just about every singer out there today. Keep doing what you're doing, you'll get noticed eventually with a voice like this.
