Criticism is welcome... and deserved. I have so much going on that I have a hard time staying focused on any one thing. My recording skills suck and it shows. Still.... I get great pleasure writing, singing and performing. Thank you for taking time to listen and give helpful advice... I appreciate it
Great song man, love the lyrics. Just a shame the vocals aren't more pronounced as you've got a real drive to your voice that sometimes seems to get a little lost among the instrumental.
Still really enjoyed it though, and thanks for sharing :)
Yeah, I'm a terrible sound man and I get frustrated when recording, then it's down hill from there. Thank goodness there's no laws forbidding a redo. :D
Thanks mildperil!
Thank you, DR... You all, are very kind. All I can do is put it out there and give it my heart and a lot of thought. Essential ingredients for a good recipe. Cheers!

Really nice track with a Neil Young feel to it, love that. Your voice is slightly off in places, but that's cosmetic. It's great to come across original talent here and you've definitely got that. Thanx for sharing.
hey dear Dave , it was really cool & lovely.
and the same one guitar was quite communicative & enough, beside this interesting lyrics.
man I'll looking for your album , please tell me whenever is published .best wishes (but this time with a new avatar).sincerely.___Behnam.
WOW!!! Not amateur at all- could totally hear this on the radio!! So glad to hear you're putting this on a studio CD. Is this a CD I can purchase? If so, please let me know when it is ready to do so. Write4heaven@hotmail.com
Thank you very much for that awesome review my friend. You will be able to purchase it once everything is finalized. I am still in the arranging mode for the 12 songs that will be on it. We have 3 complete and moving forward.
I really love the idea of this song! You're singing out, and the intensity of the guitar really meshes well with your emotion as you're singing. Love that!
The honor to please him...used to do that.......never works :-)
Thank you as always Patricia. I could have spent forever on this and I'm not sure if It would be any better. I suck at recording. In reflection, I believe the "Her" is 'Music' and I am the faithful servant. The words just 'fell out' as well as the music, so I had to ask what it was I was trying to say...
ok... I found your music thrue your latest post of a track and decided to write a comment here after listening to your music by a random choice election on your trackpage.
This fanpost, is by no means directed only at this single masterpiece of thee arts of you, rather to EVERY single track of yours here for so far.
Thank you very much for the encouraging words. This is what keeps me motivated. I don't need a lot more than words like yours, to know I am doing something good and it is appreciated.
I like the vibe of the song. It kinda takes my mind back to the early days of rock and the greats that made rock legendary. Very very catchy guitar rhythm and the chords choice is fantastic.
I agree with Glocke on the vocals being a bit to filtered and sounding small but this is definitely a track with a lot of potential. You could easily turn this into a power metal type of song by adding some drums and heavy guitars on top of this arrangement. Definitely lots of options in there.
Thank you Glocke. I am not a studio engineer by any stretch and I only fly by the seat of my pants when recording. After a while it is hard to tell if I am doing the right thing or not ....so, I just go with what feels good at the time and move on from there. Glad you enjoyed it.
Dave,
Nice track man. May I suggest a little less reverb on the vocals to bring them to the front? Your voice is too good to hide man. I know, I used to lol.

Only small criticism is to let that great voice of yours cut through the mix a little more.
Other than that, really loved it. Thank you!

but why did you some filters on your voice? would be much cooler with your real voice, hearing the breathing and the distinctive sound.
anyway, nice feelings in here! :)
