Hey Bear...ive seen you around the block a few times and you apppear to not only be well known in the community but highly respected as well... i am very appreciative that you stopped by to listen and comment..it means a lot to me..
I go ole school because that's who I am. 15 seconds its a hit. I got connections if you need some. I know someone in the industry that can get that played in UK and US. But regardless its a Hit
This is propper good Mr. it's smoother than Joe smooth eating a smoothie off a smooth surface that's been buffed up to make it extra smooth. And that's just the intro!
Quality music is what you're all about Carlos and this tune has got "radio friendly" written all over it.
Slightly chilled, lightly grilled & highly skilled.

carlos, my man. this one right here is off the hook. them strings are amazing. and that drum kit your using is awesome. this is a stong piece of work. keep up the fantastic work. peace.
Sounds pretty authentic to me mate. All that's missing is the vocals. Stylishly mixed as always Carlos. I love your mowtownesque retro grooves. Always very uplifting and well produced.
Another "he shoots! he scores!" moment from yourself.
FR
I'm chuckling at our man phyrius (possibly the most critical reviewer on the site?) But always offering sound advice.
Personally i can't comment on the mix quality as i'm on the ol' "crap top" speakers. But the vibe of the track is splendid. Love those piano chords and i can't help thinking that this would convert niceley into a d&b number.
I'd be happy to oblige with that lol.
FR
Love that bassline! The intruments are good, for me the clap/snare is little to hard after the intro part, but thats my taste :), the strings have this jackson vibe, verry nice!
Keep them comming carlosnble.
Filaofsoul...man coming from you that is an awesome compliment...i appreciate you taking the time and commenting on the track...got to stop by and get some more Filaofsoul soon!!
Straight Up -- That PIC and smile is a winner!! made me go right to check out a track- Verdict - WINNER !!- Great track - All the elements mixed to perfection - No swaying on this track - Bass- Piano- Drums Holding like GLUE!! and when them horns come in - SWEET!! 3 peat. Enjoyed Filaofsoul!!
Filaofsoul sorry i missed replying to your post...but i appreciate you coming by and checking my ideas out...i'll be stopping by your neighborhood for some more Filaofsoul!!!
I'm in retro wonderland. I too agree with the other commenters about the clap; it's more than slightly overbearing. Other than that I'd say this is really good and it holds together perfectly and it certainly made me wanna get up and bust a move ^^.
Hey EDCA thank you for stopping by and commenting on this track..i am trying out some new ideas and im glad you guys commented on the sound quality...sometimes i get ear deaf!! because i record mostly with headphones...i will tend to the matter quickly...i appreciate you taking the time for me...
some nice ideas right from the start here... from the off set I would say you gotta get more strength on those horns be it through EQing or layering they do sound thin...
your bass is kicking a long nicely but I think it is way too low in the mix ..if your having clashing problems try cutting the low end off the kicks and add a boost to them at around 90hz.. then boosting the low end at around 70 and 30hz...
although you got a smooth drum track you gotta try mixing it up added a little variation in there ..don't be afraid to experiment when it comes to drums some times a little fecking about can make beautiful sounds...
for the most part it did chill me out and I could picture the journey it just needs more work post production to make it shine brother
Was hoping there was singing here but I can live with an instrumental version. The early 70's Jackson 5 was all over am radio and as a kid grew up with it. Good job!
"Give me some"! This is well retro. Loving the silky smooth production which never seems to go astray in you mixes.
It reminds me a little of the Eurithmics "sweet dreams" or something from that kind of era.
If you could find a vocal it would be the icing on this particular cake. There's nothing to pick fault with the track so that's all i can suggest really.
Great work and i also have to say, congratulations on achieving your world record for most profile pictures posted in a first week. Bravo!

my man FR...i wanted you to know that i appreciate the way you come through for me comment wise and as usual, your comments are uplifting and thanks for stopping by..i know its been awhile since ive replied to this but you know in this business one can get really busy with projects(got to pay those bills)..once again thank you for stopping by...i must come and visit you soon...
Man this flows really nicely! I dig the synth sounds! That siren adds a lot! Good vocal usage too! Don't usually listen to pop, but I can get into this one!
MStokes....thanks so much for dropping by and checking out my music....PE is a vocal force to be reckoned with for sure!!....your compliment is truly appreciated.... talk to you soon!
I'm sure if I listen to this a few more times I'll forget it's me haha. Aside from that, this is really good!!!! Love the dance atmosphere, still all good with me.
i had to put this up patricia....i felt like i had to match your vocals and it bothered me a little(as you can see lol)
i have mad respect for your vocal talents and i was about to let you know it was up...but got sidetracked here at home(mad house full of people)!! but i'm glad you like the better version!!!
Decided i do drop a visit to hear this and im glad i did -) Its hot the beat fits perfectly and the vocals go nicely and it all flows well i hope you finish this, really want to hear the finished version =D
AngelDragon2580 ...thank you so much for dropping by and checking out the preview...i appreciate the nice comment you gave it. Farisha obviously is a great vocal talent...i have the res of the verse so i will be adding more...again thanks for stopping by... talk to you soon
I love the way that everytime i stop by you have a different photo up. I couldn't get rif of my mug shot quick enough.
Anyway, i'm here to talk about the track so here goes. Absolutely fantastic piece of music, Reminds me a little of incognito or maybe Ronnie Jordan. Perfectly blended together pice of Jazz and i'd go as far as saying the best jazz piece i've heard in a long time. The electronic bassline that holds the backbone of the track creates an excellent vibe throughout and compliments all the more natural sounding instruments perfectly.
Outstanding!

Hey FR... again thank you for your continued support on my prjects...and although they're mostly ideas...i look forward to hearing what you have to say about them..thanks man and talk to you soon!
